  1. Agreed. IMO the best one is probably the Revell B/RB engine from the Revell 1968-69 Dart and / or Charger kits But none of them have a single plane intake manifold in it. For that You're most likely have to go aftermkt / resin suppliers
  2. REAL hard to see unless you are holding it close or out in the sun , Neither of which will be an issue for me. As once its done and in my case. You cant see it under natural light. As its not near as pronounced in person as these pics show it to be
  3. Slight update. Lesson learned today Cleared the body today,,,,and as soon as the paint started to fly, I noticed something different in the overspray in the box ( aka spray booth ) Pulled the body out in the sun and it now has a pearl look to it. REAL hard to see unless you are holding it close or out in the sun , Neither of which will be an issue for me I would strip it, But 1 - I dont have another set of decals., 2, I kinda like it actually. Its kinda cool in its own weird way So, Im gonna live with it and move on. Oddly enough,,,,,,, Its one of the best overall shines Ive ever got from a rattle can clear . So thats a plus So, lesson here is READ the can closely when you buy it
  4. Nice. Very nice. Chris Walsh decals? I have 3 Darts built myself....and at least 2 more to build. The Demented Dart. And Charlie Allen's blue SS/EA car.
  5. .I got the good center stripe a little too narrow. But.....I'll live with it. I got the decals on it tonite. If all is well tomorrow.... I'll clear it maybe late tomorrow....or Wednesday morning.
  6. Im still waiting on decals for the Landy Coronet. So decided to see if I can knock one of these out . Dug it out the end of last week and dove right in I built one many years ago and in a weak moment , Sold it. Bought one of these repops several years back for just this day. Its a very simple kit and really screams for some detailing. So, I've decided to add some upgrades, Nothing fancy just some simple fuel lines and spark plug wiring. Fuel lines are a braided wire from Hobby Lobby and craft beads, Dist is a pre wired piece from MAD Swapping out the rear tires for something better, And will swap out the generic kit wheels for the more accurate Hurst wheels instead The body is/will be Tamiya gold and gloss black ,, and I'll let it sit a day or 2 , then mask it off to do the black . I'm undecided to just how I'll do the exhaust as I'm finding several different versions was used on this car back then Comments or critique's welcome, Thanks for looking

  10. Leal had two versions of this car. The 1st one, non tubbed and no Revell lettering on the car ( shown here ) 2nd one I think was late 70s and or early 80s . big hemi, tubbed and the shown Revell lettering I think the one out there today is the 2nd car , restored to replicate the earlier car And I also think the early car became the altered wheelbase car , Not 100% sure on that part though
  11. Engine and interior are done. Waiting on decals to finish the body
  12. Looking good so far. I built the hemi Sedan several years back using the Lindberg kit Mind if I ask how you got the Plymouth roof to fit the Dodge body It looks a good bit wider that the Body
