I may have to give this a try , then maybe make the vent wing glass separately . I think the glass has some compound curves in it I may not be able to pull off Mostly scratches. a few you can hang your nail in . I've tried a polish I have here and no help. Looking for my bottle of Future now to see if I dip it will help -

I'm thinking use a spare gts interior tub. Make a bench seat for my next one. It'll at least look the part I'm after.

Well, Today was an experimental day After some spoons color tests. with various Blues. I sprayed out the TS54 ( on the left ) and it was far too light....SO,,,,, I tried it directly over the darker TS51 on a spoon test ( on the right ) And . BINGO,,,,Its not a huge changed from straight TS54, But just enough I think It nailed the color I was after

That's what I was afraid of. Pretty much confirms my findings. Now to figure out how to get the texture under a decal

Well. Decision made. I couldn't live with it Plus I want to widen the hood stripes So....Taped It back up. And will Reshoot it later today.

I know the the 1968 Dart kits has 2 versions.... One with ( GSS ) and one without ( hemi dart ) a molded vinyl top. Is the 69 Dart non molded vinyl top only ?

Anyone have one avail? If so...let's talk

The Blue is too dark I think. It's tamiya TS51 I believe It has maybe 3 light coats over the silver I'll look this weekend and if i fid a lighter blue .....ill maybe tape it back up respray the blue The Dart is all decals btw
