  1. I was so glad this kit was reintroduced Ive wanted a replica of my old car for ages. I actually have an original MPC builder I started years ago. But the tail light bars got damaged . So it went back in the box , Still there to this day So I started this build back right after the kit came out. For one reason or another. It got pushed back more and more . I decided to get with it and finish it this week . Built box stock trying to replicate my old car . I kind of like it without decals, , so for now I think I will leave them off
  2. I have several 69s I've parted out if you want the seats / interior tub
  3. This is the engine from the Lindberg / AMT 1964 Dodge - Plymouth kits It has a single 4 barrel intake option as well
  4. Keep in mind the early B-RB engines have a 4 bolt valve cover. as opposed to these kit suggested engines use a 6 bolt valve cover IF that tiny detail makes a difference to you in scale
  5. I think I got hold of a bad sheet of BMF ( bought it off Amazon ) Ive used the Molotow pens in the past with good results. and is what I will use to touch this one up Actually used one to do all the trim on a Thunderbolt build about 8-10 years ago. And it still looks good But Ive learned you have to use a new pen , or risk drip issues. Found that out the hard way earlier this year
  6. Any issues with these kits to build I need to be aware of.? I have the 65 Plymouth AFX kit on the bench for next up to do Paper Tiger 1
  7. After numerous setbacks with BMF ,'Ive decided to call this one done ( or at least until I get into town to pick up a fresh chrome pen for touchups ) Tamiya black and Nassau blue for the interior . Front bench seat is a scratchbuild using a spare rear seat . with Scale Motorsports decals Lindberg kit with some pieces from the Color Me Gone 64 Dodge Aftermkt decals which turned out to be extremely fragile once on the body. So they are under a couple coats of Tamiya Clear Parts box tires , Resin AFB carbs and prewired dist for a touch of upgrades underhood . I dont get into a lot of detailing , And I dont do contests . So my builds are for me and me alone. That said,,,,,Im not 100% happy with it. But Im calling it done and put it in the case and move on. Hope you like it , comments welcome,,,,good or bad. You're not gonna hurt my feelings one way or the other.

  16. Biggest issue for me is the glue on hardtop The body is kinda sorta supposed to be a convertible. But has wrong windshield frame and no convertible interior pieces
  17. Huge difference between wedge head and hemi head exhaust
  18. What kits have headers for the 383 -440 engines Besides the lindberg / AMT 64 DODGE / PLYMOUTH kits?????
