  1. To many bolts along the lower edge to be small block chevy
  2. Ive never seen a set .
  3. I have an original uptop for my 61 Sunliner, I will pull it out and see how it fits on the 58 convertible Actually,,,I have several different cars with the up top. I'll see if any of them fit decent
  4. I will look around this weekend . Just to confirm this is a Johan body correct ?
  5. Im afraid the RR hasnt chsnged. And doubt it ever will . One day I'll build one a little more accurate . As to when, I have no idea Since we moved 2000 miles across country almost 2 years ago,,,, Ive not touched anything model related other than a few purchases Im in process of trying to buy an old car and if it happens. I might consider selling off some more of the pile to really thin down. Sold about 65 kits a few weeks ago
  6. Snake, I sure I have a spare rear bumper. And I may have parts of one But pretty sure I do NOT have a complete wing.
  7. If its in fact the same car. That green on green hemi duster was / from findlay ohio. As far as i know its still owned by the same guy who built it. Years ago. I remember 2 brothers built 2 dusters. The other one was a 1971 or 72..???? And was big block powered car. Was also green but i think it had black interior
  8. Ive used the MM / Testors rattle can stuff. Its close to the real car, real close
  9. I have a resin utility box. I would let go
  10. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think he rat raster intake appeared to early 70s My money is on the car ran a stock appearing 2 fours inline intake
  11. Not familiar with that particular car....but odds are it ran the inline intake......although most intakes were heavily modified back then...still looked stock outside appearance
  12. I wasnt real sure about the last one. But have to give it a guess all the same Must be hardtop Fury. Ive seen these in all the convertible kits Ive come across, ( none in my budget btw )
  13. the flame sheet reminds me of some found in the very early annuals.
  14. Im afraid the only one who can answer that question is YOU. So it comes down to can you carry on and live with it as is? Myself, I would finish it as is, but then I dont do contests so Odds are I am the only one who will ever see mine in person
  15. Im liking your color choices bigtime on this one. And agree. This is gonna pop bigtime once cleared and shiney
  16. The problem with this route is the fact its a big block lower end will instantly recognizable to any mopar fan worth there salt . Oil filter location and water pump design are VERY different between the 2 engine designs
  17. I used the pen on all the trim on a Thunderbolt build a few years ago. And only the side trim on another one about the same time. And this was maybe 3 or 4 years ago To this day they still look good . But I dont handle them either. As once in the case, they tend to stay there
  18. There in pretty much all the pilar lights funnycars. Got several sets if you need them Just need address
  19. NO Daytonas came factory with a vinyl top. BUT. there are at least one...maybe a couple more that had them dealer installed. Same rule applies to the Charger 500. Superbirds ALL came with factory installed vinyl tops.
  20. What, no 1970 model? Also, keep in mind 1971 B5 is darker than 1969-70 B5 if accuracy is important
  21. I know of this Galaxie you speak of. Know the builder well. That kit turned heads back then.....still does if he pulls it out. I say build what you want . Its only plastic. And if it makes you happy to modify it.....so be and enjoy yourself while still on this earth. Let the next owner worry about when your gone
  22. The custom version is custom only. The other versions are all basically same kit. Ps. I think AMT made a Bonneville or maybe a Gran Prix kit back in 1962 if you wish to go that route
  23. Just my humble opinion. But I think its one of the best kits to ever carry the Revell name
  24. I say build what you want the way YOU want it. Purists be damned. I've been down the road to update old kits , but the past 20 years or so I just leave them out of the box stock . Simply because I don't do contests and don't feel the need to add a lot more work when 90 % of it cant be seen in my display case
