  1. Ya got me. Ive read thru the thread and Im still lost.
  2. Ok, who can make me the decal to replicate this hood
  3. The ledge in question. Locking it is of no concern to me A- its 7 ft above the floor B- no one will ever open it except me
  4. Yes, the area I have avail is right at 4+1/2' feet tall. Ive been up on said ledge painting it so I'm confident it will handle the weight no problem
  5. Ok, With us being in the new place. My old 5 ft tall cases are not going to work, as I simply do not have the floor space for them any longer I have an area above the family room ( I'll call it a ledge so to speak ) I was thinking either build glass shelving with glass front or buy some nice wall mounted cases. The area I have avail is approx 4.5" tall and maybe 20' in overall length. I'm thinking something like this as an example. Not cheap by any means . But I think these would work perfectly . And it doesn't have to be lighted. But I'm not against it either Based on this size , I need 2 ,,,maybe even 3 of these https://www.displays2go.com/P-33996/LED-Wall-Showcase-Locking-Doors
  6. Luckily i had the opportunity to meet them all. Ronnie sox was my idol since i was a kid. Both Ronnie and Bob were very easy to talk to. Grumpy. Maybe i caught him on a bad day. But......he earned the nickname
  7. Nice. Good color combo. I have a couple original issue SMP 61s on hand ,,,for that someday project
  8. i know of a couple people that have met him. And all have said. he is a VERY down to earth. been told he LOVES to talk cars. no matter the year or brand He has been to several shows Ive been to at same time but never got a chance to meet him in person
  9. Doesn't matter to me one way or the other what these buyers do with there purchases
  10. I would use JB weld or maybe a good 2 part epoxy. But no matter what I used I would completely fill the backside to give it strength
  11. Used to go every year. But haven't been maybe the past 4 or so. Now that i live in Az. Not likely i will ever go again.
  12. I ck out the videos they post from time to time. This one is just to cool not to share . A hand built 1934 Rolls Royce powered by a Merlin V12
  13. Same here. sent an email over a year ago. to do maybe 20 sets of bumpers for old annuals I have never heard a word back.
  14. Sorry to hear. cancer sucks and I'm afraid NO ONE is immune from it
  15. its not in hand yet. But woke up this morning to find out I won this one. Threw a casual bit at it late yesterday just for giggles, sure enough I won the thing. Its one of those Ive been casually looking for without spending a small fortune to own. I'll probably be reselling the box and custom parts as I have no real interest in those
  16. Thanks Casey, I knew the interior was all new versus the GTX version. Ive had this project in the back of my mind for well over 10 years and I think its time to get started on it while Im still young. I dont have one of these Monogram kits on hand to compare height , width etc. so I cant answer that one. But, If I can just come up with the seats and decals I would probably just modify the seats to fit the Johan interior tub. and call it good enough.
  17. Mark. If you want to cut the decal sheet and interior pieces loose. Pm me please. Im thinking about trying this on my build. I may just use the seats and leave the Johan interior tub alone on it. Ive also considered just use a spare johan back seat and make my own front bench..even though the seat pattern isn't exactly correct
  18. Ok, I have a Johan 1970 Road runner I want to finally get started on to build of my former car . It was black with black bench seat interior. 440 six pack , 4 spd Has anyone ever modified the 1/24th scale Monogram interior to fit a 1/25th scale Johan body ? If so, I looking for ideas
  19. Now that I think about it, I believe your correct. Same square moldings as in a Gran Coupe Barracuda. They were NOT avail in a regular Cuda Another side note, I am 99% sure the gilled rocker moldings as shown here were NOT avail on an AAR Due to the fact they were plastic , and right above a hot exhaust tip ,,,probably not a good idea. Although I have seen several cars with them ( owner added on the car I did )
  20. Nope, avail in any color a regular Barracuda / Cuda was avail in. There are lots of black ones out there. A friend of mine used to own both a black TA and a black AAR. TA had black interior , the AAR had white interior. He sold both a few years back and I think he now owns a B7 blue AAR. which is one of the rarest colors known
  21. AAR grill all other 1970 Barracuda/Cuda
  22. Actually all 1970 ( and 71 ) Barracuda and Cudas have the stainless trim on the outer perimeter of the grill. All other 1970 Barracuda / Cuds the grill is argent silver Exact same colors apply to the lower grill insert in the lower valance
  23. I can assure you its very much an original BS23JOB . AAR, 340 six barrel auto. Plum Crazy Purple, no vinyl top. He has owned this car for ages and will die with this car. I personally restored this car about 8 years ago,,,, and Before the restoration even began and he decided to build the car HIS way. Powered by a Tim Banning / FHO (at For hemis only ) built 484 cu in iron block, aluminum head street Hemi. John Cope built 727 auto. Strange Dana 3.54 . Full 2.5" TTI exhaust. AND we added Vintage air A/C system to keep the occupants nice and comfortable. . This is probably one of the best running/driving street HEMI I've ever been in
  24. I have the 68 Roadrunner and GTX grilles. didn't know the GTX door panels were avail. Now just need seats to finish this one
