  1. Very nice
  2. Between the various incarnations of the Lindberg Dodge / Plymouth kits. I probably have 20 , maybe 25 Bought up a bunch of them when Ollies had them for $8 ea I thought the ladies eye were gonna pop out her head when I walked to the register with at least a half dozen of them one day 64 Plymouth chassis is the one thats unfinished The Plymouth chassis is about an 1/8" shorter in wheelbase and maybe 3/16" shorter overall .. it would appear the difference is in the center of the pan itself. I'm afraid I don't have many. extras of the Plymouth to part with
  3. Lawman and Color Me Gone both are max wedge powered. If you want a few. I have a boatload of extra color me gone kits I can send you. We will work out details another time
  4. I knew about the metal axles in the mopar kits from the period ( I have them all ) . So only figures the others would be the same. DID NOT know about the rocker trim though Thanks
  5. the Copper looks amazing on those cars. To be honest I dont think I've ever seen a Dodge in Copper. But have seen a few Plymouths that color and it looks AMAZING
  6. I'll find them. just give me a few days. We are hip deep into a house remodel . And model cars are LOW priority at the moment . Planning to put it up for sale the next few weeks and move to sunny Arizona Bill
  7. My weekend purchase. Looks clean enough for some basic touchups and in the case it will go. To sit along side a few others I doubt I will ever take apart to redo
  8. Being somewhat interested in this same info for a 1964 Plymouth sedan . Has anyone held either the MCW and/or the Bandit body in hand.? to comment how nice it is ,,or isnt ? Compared to others. I have both a MCW and Speed City bodies of a 1965 Plymouth AFX, and Speed City is heads above the MCW body as to quality. So I am interested to know the best one avail out there I have the JF 1964 Plymouth body and it leaves A LOT to be desired
  9. WOW,,,,, just plain WOW.
  10. Be this weekend, but will look for them.
  11. If they are in the Lawman kit. You can have the set from mine. I am using the mag wheels on my version
  12. "I think ' the Johan 1968 Fury Police car has a beenie hub cap in it as well. Been a while since I looked in that box though. So I cant comment which style it has Cant think of any others though
  13. I think the closest ones your going to find is in the Little red Wagon Out of what ones you posted above. " I think " the only ones correct for a 63 is the top one
  14. Missing link makes it and it is a VERY nice piece. Drops in the lindberg body perfectly
  15. Green one went for about what i thought.( it had issues ) the red and yellow one beat even my expectations ,,,,,,,, over $9,000 in the 3 coronets alone is WOW , double WOW
  16. wanna sell the 62 Dodge dart and 62 Fury. I'll give you your money back on them 2 alone.
  17. Dude, you stole that one. And Good luck on that 1960 Olds, even better try finding a good deal on a 1959 Olds or 1961 Plymouth Fury ( PS, I am looking for a 1961 Fury in case anyone has one to part with .) https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1959-OLDSMOBILE-NINTY-EIGHT-Built-MODEL-1-25-JOHAN/153019605290?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
  18. Most of the later issues stuff can be found reasonable. you just have to look I recently picked up a 68 Fury Police car and a 1960 Plymouth wagon. Didn't give over $50 for either one Its the Older original issue stuff that can command serious cash. Maybe 2 years ago picked a spotless 1959 Fury , and I think it was right at $100 or so . Then picked up another one on a trade last year with a car I had less than $40 in . Most of my older Johan builders were well under $100 , several were less than $50 I think the most expensive one I have is a builder Johan 1969 GTX . I was tired of looking with no luck so I paid up to get one. I think it was about $125 ( NICE builtup in the original box ) only a few weeks later found another one for under $50 , so go figure . Just proves they are still out there at decent prices if your willing to look and keep patient
  19. Also, I'll add my 2 cents. if you feel so inclined. do the seats and door panels as well. Ive tried to do them with putty and failed miserably. So if done I'm a buyer
  20. Looks pretty good so far. And I agree, tightening up the spacing ( but not much ) between upper and lower horizontal bars would improve it a tad more. If I remember right there is about an inch or inch and half of decklid showing above the trunk applique before it rolls over to the top Also, if the decklid thickness is thinner around the edges than the kit body,,, it might be a good thing. . Even better would be have it printed with the bracing detail on the bottom side of the decklid
  21. Just hit me, and something to keep in mind. The kit ( if you can find one ) the hood is open. On a promo the hood will be molded in. And will require a bit more work . BUT its very doable. ( I did one on a blueprinter version of the galaxie I have stashed away )
  22. Yes, they are stryene. I have a stryene builder kit( little tougher to find than the promo. finding a distressed promo is easier ,,,and typically cheaper $35 to $40 is about right. You can find them for less, but condition usually dictates lower price . There is one on ebay now for less, but has missing A pillars https://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-Ford-Galaxie-2dr-Hardtop-Promo-car/202308929382?hash=item2f1a8d4766:g:SBkAAOSw~RFa8ziC
  23. Something like so, and fyi, I dont think I paid this much for mine last year. So deals are out there. You just have to be patience https://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-Ford-Galaxie-2-Door-Coupe-Dealer-Promo-Car-Excellent/323260788013?hash=item4b43d82d2d:g:bKAAAOSwJpda8iYZ
