  1. Or its someone spamming for your email address ( I get the same stupid questions with Craigslist listings ) I delete them and move on
  2. Nice work, Ive been looking at these kits on ebay. Might actually pull the trigger on one yet . These are about the only Ferrari cars I care much for.
  3. Agreed, on all accounts . We think a lot alike
  4. I figured it had to be something simple. I'll have to consider it sooner than later. There are more and more kits I want to build and the colors I want are not avail in rattle cans But for the price of the HF ones I can use it and drop it in the trash once I'm done with it. I might dive deeper into one when retirement comes in the next few years and Ive got more modeling bench time on my hands.
  5. You can admit it. Its a real one isnt it. ? But WOW is it nice
  6. This, and the fact they were 'usually ' just updated 1970 models.
  7. One of my favorite kits ( I have maybe 2 dozen of them stashed away in various liverys. Just an fyi. the top moulding of the grille is supposed to be attach the leading edge of the hood.
  8. VERY nice, I want one of these . but there's always something else that catches my eye when my toy fund actually has funds in it
  9. Correct. MOST Pro Stock Cudas started life as a 1970 Body in white. If you'll notice most didn't even have side markers The early version of Sox and Martins 1971 , even still retained the 70 hood scoop
  10. Thats one expensive garage ornament. A real 71 Cuda vert, ( no matter what engine) is not going to be cheap
  11. Ive been toying with the idea to look into airbrushes for paints not avail in rattle cans - I just took a look at the Badger 350. In all honesty it doesn't look ANY different than my Harbor Freight one for $10. No more than I use it, I can use it and toss in the trash once done. In all honesty I dont use it more than 3 times in a 5 year span what gives ?
  12. correct. a 383 wih 4 bareel was the biggest avail.

    70 Cuda

Dog dish steel wheels were avail in 15" only. The hockey stick was only avail in black though. Never red from oem
  14. no They didn't. I'n the 1/1 world the spacing for the wingnuts is different. Hemi and single 4 barrel were the exact same lid. There are other differences....but in 1.25th scale . Any differences would be hard to detect.
  15. same here. If he didn't act like an idiot. I mighty watch it more if I had the time.
  16. The vents are just under 2 inches thick top to bottom. Most of that sticks thru holes in the fender leaving only maybe an 1/8" or so above the fender. The inner pocket of the vent is actually below the surface of the fender, making the impression they are functional, ( they were never functional )
  17. I used to. Sold my National Dragster magazine collection earlier this year. Thinking about selling my vintage magazine collection as well. It covers a lot from early sixties to early seventies. I simply don't read them or refer to them for reference (thanks Google ) Its a verticle 4 drawer file cabinet..... that's pretty full.
  18. I sure wouldn't argue with either one of these
  19. Ok, I did some asking around with a couple guys I know that collect dealer promos. ( I used to collect Mopar promos ) Seems the beige/ white one is worth in the $25 to $35 range. the easiest one to find of the group Red is a little more in the $35 to $50 range. Seems the Dark blue will easily bring $150 and up ( much harder to find mint )
  20. Not sure value. But I recently sold a NICE 62 hardtop for $50 So I would think its worth at least that.
  21. Thats the way mine is. All stock except the tail lights . I'll get to it one day here soon, at least I hope so .
  22. Nice one. I've got a clean convertible for someday project. Just need to find stock tail.light lenses
