  1. I had a Tamiya can seep out this yellow gold looking stuff around the bottom of the can. It was less than maybe 10 months old at the max.. Yet I've cans on the shelf 20 years old with no issues
  2. I was at the one local to me a few weeks ago. And I didn't see any
  3. Staples. Office Depot or Office max Or if you want an endless array of sizes try Uline.com
  4. Model kits it' pretty much 1.25th exclusively . I do have some diecast in 1.24th and 1.18th
  5. Correct, this car was very short lived. Basically thrown together to compete at I think the Winternationals .( not 100% sure of the race ) then pulled down and it became the Altered wheelbase car via Ambelwagon Mine will be built I assure you.
  6. Other than it drives the demand up ( aka price ) to the limits. And adds fuel to the fire for the feeding frenzy I would like to have one, but am not aware of anyone doing the decals for this particular car. If they are please let me know Ive already talked to my primary local hobby shop and he cant get Model King kits. So I may stop by my secondary LHS to ck there the one day this week .
  7. Nice, What did you use for the interior color ?
  8. I guess I'm not a modeler , or even breathing. The new vette is neat to look at , but I have ZERO interest to build a kit of one. To be honest ,,,,There's nothing produced for 2018 that I would consider to build a 1/125th scale replica of ,,,unless someone was paying me to do so . As for the 64-65 Nova, ,,,,meh. I was actually hoping for either the 68 Coronet or 67-68 Cougar I surely wish them luck with the Nova and they sell millions of copies. But none will be to me . The Ford F150,,,,eh , Maybe
  9. I sure hope this one makes it .
  10. IMC made the 1st one. then Lindberg label came many MANY years later. Exactly when they ended up with it, I have no idea
  11. Ive got several. From builds I did many MANY years ( and actually still have ) Such as my Johan Sox and Martin 1969 Roadrunner. And my Monza IMSA looking thing , Its my very first attempt to do a multi color fade paint job ( all rattle cans ). Both of these were built back in the late 70s to early 80s time frame Those are the 2 at the top of my list. Followed by some kits Ive built in the past 15 years that are replicas of kits I built when I was a kid in the early 70s ( thank god for ebay find builders and modern day re-issues ) The Barry Setzer Vega I bought a really nice case for it to just display it alone. Built from an ebay find maybe 15 years ago of a mostly unbuilt MPC kit that had been tinkered with slightly. Using original kit decals to btw I have others But I have to say these are probably my most prized and will go NOWHERE while I'm still breathing.
  12. This ( or preferably a 1961 ) Would sure get my heart beating pretty good. I love the late 50s and early 60s Mopar fin cars
  13. Not a bad idea. Although I personally would prefer them backdate the 67 GTX into a 1966 Satellite
  14. We think alike. I'll take either a Dodge or Plymouth with no real preference towards either one
  15. I'm afraid i cant answer that one. I don' have one of the newer sedan kits. To know exactly what interior is in it. I do have the Melrose car. But havent opened it to ck what interior is in it. I'm guessing the same interior as the street hardtop.
  16. Again, for me its another ,,,,meh. I like the box art for the Fireball 500, but not enough to buy another kit of it The rest, no thanks ...... Maybe next time
  17. no. the Melrose car is a hardtop. the black arrow was a sedan. A sedan was recently released But its wedge engine car. A better option is wait for the model king Butch Leal car
  18. As for one of my other grail kits I have them. Both a dead mint as well as one I built of the Barry Setzer Vega funnycar. I built one many many years ago back when 1st released. Lost it and many many more in a house fire . As I remember them I keep an eye to get them back again today Built the kit from a pretty much unbuilt but tinkered with one I grabbed off Ebay several years ago. My unbuilt was factory sealed when I got it ( have since opened it just to insure myself its actually in the box ) The other grail kit for me is the Roger Lindamood 1968 Charger funnycar. Ive got a pretty clean builder and the box. I used to have a mint unbuilt ,,,but in a weak moment sold it several years ago (a decision Ive regretted ever since )
  19. Having had my share of dealer promos ( almost all Mopar) I casually look for them . One just Never knows when You'll find one that grabs your attention. The one above is hands down the most expensive promo Ive ever seen sell. The 69 Mustang was only avail in red and is extremely tough to find. The fact this one was pretty much dead mint and in the original box. I knew it was gonna go nuts before it was over. Even flawed they still get crazy money. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Scarce-Old-1969-Mustang-Red-Promo-Car-Good-Shape-Needs-Some-TLC-Rarely-Seen-/112550879537?hash=item1a348e2131%3Ag%3ARxMAAOSwE~NZrHJl&nma=true&si=M7%2FwpQA%2FQ4T1KbaN%2BrxTLsAINNc%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 A 1969 Dodge Coronet convertible promo is big money ( usually tops out between $1500 and $2000, probably add $500 or more if its red ) And an odd one is I think is a 1962 or maybe it was a 63 Imperial convertible in black. That one will top out over $2000 as well.
  20. OUCH, Thats one that will put a serious dent in a piggy bank. I mean a BIG dent I assume you saw the one that sold on ebay a few weeks ago ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-1969-Mustang-Fastback-Red-Promo-Model-With-Box-Ultra-Rare-Mint-NOS-/401413487965?hash=item5d761bbd5d%3Ag%3AQY4AAOSwJQlZzYK6&nma=true&si=M7%2FwpQA%2FQ4T1KbaN%2BrxTLsAINNc%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  21. It can already be done behind the scenes. via PM Members are already able to make posts about an ebay seller , a member and/or vendor they've been burned by no matter if it was a trade or purchase . Irregardless if it was done here or elsewhere . Vendors and / or private parties are allowed to make posts / announcements of a product they make sell There are members here with links in there signature taking them to a site to purchase . So what the the difference of publicly stating ______ is for sale . And put a price on it.
  22. Unbuilt mint in original box. Johan 1969 GTX kit. I have a pretty decent builder (2 now actually ) But an unbuilt would be really nice to have.
  23. looking at it..... I think the skirts are on with minimul giue. So would probably come off without to much fuss. Now. Will I do anything with it ? .....probably not. The other one I have is near mint. Odds are this one will be nothing but trade bait to get something I don't already have.
  24. Well, No luck. Hit the one near me and no luck. I walked all over the store . Did buy 2 cans of paint though. So at least it wasnt a wasted trip
