  1. Ive done this with EXCELLENT results This one had some light scratches in it. Dipped it in Future and nothing else. I was impressed
  2. Love the color. I have a rebuilder 67 convertible I want to get to here soon,,,might get the thing on the bench for a this winter rebuild

  4. if memory serves me right, the 300 was only avail in a limited colors as opposed to the Chrysler full line. Although I could be reading it wrong http://www.chrysler300club.com/rcmstuff/colors.html 1957 A Jet Black 9000 F Parade Green (m) 41826 DYE-DDL 2205 w/less poly N Copper Brown (m) 21018 E-180 P Gauguin Red 70693 DYE-DDL 70618 little darker X Cloud White 8036
  5. Funny, I was thinkng the same thing. Even if ALL the current manufacturers closed there doors today. Odds are I still have more then I can a build in the time I have left here in anyway.
  6. Anyone know which is the better or are they the same kit ,,just reboxed ?
  7. I like it. I keep thinking I want one of these kits, just never had made the push to find one in 1.25th scale
  8. Meh, another month of nothing to get excited about. At least not for me
  9. Thanks for the pics. I didnt even go this year
  10. WOW .......it wouldn't take much imagination to think this is the actual car. Hopefully this thing will be done about the same time I make thew cross country move to Arizona and be able to see it in person.
  11. Thats an understatement. To you guys that go this far in detail is beyond words to me and my hats off to you all. I simply no longer have the time or patience to do something like this. So I'll just live vicariously thru each of your builds.
  12. I do mine before ANY paint or primer goes on. Trim as close to the emblem as a I can using my lighted magnifier and a new Xacto blade in my cutter BUT, i use a rattle can almost exclusively so that may be a factor
  13. Got my grills in a few days ago. preliminary ck out they look perfect Thanks
  14. I'd say your off to a pretty good start
  15. I have SEVERAL on the bench mocking me
  16. Ive used Steves method several times with EXCELLANT results And I'll assure you a GOOD lighted magnifier is an absolute must to do it ( at least it is for me )
  17. Agreed, I would love to do something similar . Only in a vintage convertible / muscle car or something. I would have to be something with 4 wheels. My back/kidneys / knees etc etc would never take weeks on end on just 2 wheels anymore
  18. I might. But will be the weekend before I can do my files. Best I remember it's a bench seat . Silver with black inserts
  19. I would love to have a kit of one of these cars
  20. I see the model is a Fury 3. Im not 100% positive but I don't think the 426 wedge was avail in anything but a Sport Fury. if thats the case. it would be all engine color anyway ,,,maybe .
  21. Steve, I've edited my comment to reflect what I believe to be true. Although I'm not up on these cars as well as I am the 1966 and later cars
  22. I am pretty sure chrome was on the 426 wedge engines only, the 383 powered cars have black air cleaner and engine color valve covers
