  1. Yeah, that's why you'll see folks talking about putting a model in the purple pond.
  2. Well, I watched and it was OK. I've sadly given up on F1. The race is typically decided in qualifying. IndyCar is what I follow and they're supposed to return next month. Memorial day weekend won't be the same without the 500 though.
  3. FYI, there are 3 different tips for the H. #1, #2 and #3 with 1 being the smallest and 3 being the largest.
  4. I haven't watched a NASCAR race in a couple of years but I need to see some racing. Should be an interesting race with no practice, no qualifying and a green track. Turn 1, lap 1 will be wild.
  5. She was also great as Ted Baxter's girlfriend on Mary Tyler Moore.
  6. I've got a PS-290 with the handle that Steven recommended and I love it. It replaced a Paasche H which I still use for some parts.
  7. Hi Mike and welcome! I've always tried to paint the lighter color first, be it stripes or body color. The Tamiya tape is good stuff. Just keep it clean. Burnish it down thoroughly after you apply it. I'd practice the masking and spraying on something besides your model body if you can. I used a Paasche H when I started back into building. It's a great starter airbrush. The color combination sounds good to me. Here's the best way to find stuff on this forum. You'll be reading for a long time. ?
  8. Really loved his performances as Amy's dad on Everybody Loves Raymond playing the uber pious husband to Georgia Engel. She was the perfect match to Fred in the show.
  9. IMHO, The Contest was the funniest. I don't recall if Stiller was in that one.
  10. If so, you must see Permanent Midnight. A very dark film but Ben should have gotten an Oscar IMHO.
  11. Yeah, serenity now! His son Ben is an amazing actor. If you want to see a great, but very very dark movie, check out Permanent Midnight. As good or even better than Frank Sinatra in The Man With the Golden Arm.
  12. Loved when he would rant on King of Queens. Stiller and Meara was a classic comedy duo. RIP Jerry
  13. Beautiful 50s/60s style custom!
  14. Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis were my favorites. Born in '44, to me those guys really were the soul of rock and roll back then. They're all gone now. Rip It Up, LR!
  15. Walmart carries lacquer thinner.
  16. Samantha Fish, anyone?
  17. I ditched Fakebook in 2016.
  18. Paul Revere and the Raiders. Geez, I'm old. Best Sound like their album - Little River Band Best Light Show - Blue Oyster Cult, close second - Joe Walsh Most memorable - AC/DC on October 2, 1979, just about 3 months before Bon Scott died Call me 76 and just about deaf. ;^)
  19. Welcome back, Richard. You had one heck of a ride! You can beat the smokes. I did in 1972.
  20. Stirling was to Juan Manuel Fangio what Reubens Barrichello was to Michael Schumacher. A true gentleman, a devoted teammate and a great driver. RIP Stirling.
  21. I've had 2 shepherds, Leroy and Solo. They're wonderful pets and both of them were protective of my wife, like yours. I feel your pain. It was a hard decision to make. I've had to have 2 cats put down. I know what you're going through. This awful virus just added another layer of anguish to the whole situation. My thoughts are with you in hopes you'll find some peace soon.
  22. Best first airbrush is the single action Paasche H, in my opinion.
