  1. I bought a 100 pack of bamboo skewers and use double sided tape to stick the parts to them.
  2. Actually, it is called Evolution Orange. That's the first time I've ever seen it called Gold.
  3. The color you've chosen is very close to the Evolution Gold color they used on the 2000 Miata. Only 646 were built.
  4. I hope the one in my stash turns out as well as yours.
  5. Let us know how it comes out. I'm trying to master acrylics and Future as well.
  6. I just completed this last week. It's not beautiful, but it works. Now to get it filled up.
  7. Here's something I came up with. I used it to thread the tubing between the nails to get the shape I wanted and used a hair dryer to get it to keep it's shape.
  8. Great job and the color choices are excellent!
  9. Good job after such a long layoff. Let's see more.
  10. Make sure you only use a few drops. Most tips I've read that suggest Flow Aid only call for about 1 to 2 ml in a 100 ml mixture of thinner.
  11. Walmart has denatured alcohol.
  12. Never check it. Everything I need is here.

What a great job you did! That color combo works!
  15. Awesome build! Love those 67s.
  16. Beautiful workmanship!
  17. Beautiful deep looking paint! Great job!
  18. I've got a 105 also. I've been shooting a lot of acrylics and Future. I use windshield washer cleaner to soak everything in. The only parts I don't soak are the air valve assembly, the needle tube/shank assembly and the back lever. Everything else goes in the cleaner. I use stronger window cleaner sprayed on a paper towel to wipe everything down after a good soak. Toothbrushes get the stubborn stuff out of the cup lid. I bought a set of airbrush cleaners that I use on the small orifices of the main body of the AB. Windshield washer fluid is a lot cheaper than thinner and more effective than plain water.
  19. Down draft booths are how the 1:1 booths are designed. Put your exhaust connection in the bottom. If that's not feasible, put it in the back. A false floor is a good idea as well. Here's what I've come up with. http://www.modelcars...showtopic=76088
  20. Here's what I built. As Drake69 said, be sure to use a BRUSHLESS MOTOR. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76088
