blunc Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 So besides the one kit mentioned I have no interest in, any idea what the other one will be?as posted on the Foose website, the F100 and the Eldorod were the winners of the vote.
Brett Barrow Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 But if it's just going to be the old kit rehashed why are they scanning it?!?!?
Chuck Kourouklis Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I'm just STOKED that they're actually going LIDAR now. Can't wait to see how that turns out. They claim on the website that the '14 'Vette body is "computer designed". Wonder if that's what they mean...

Wonder if that's what they mean...they probably used GMs profile render and tuned it to 1/25.
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 If the Foose Caddy actually makes it to Revell's production line, I'm in for a case. As the basis for a '50s GM custom, it's going to be hard to beat. I WANT some.
Chuck Kourouklis Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 they probably used GMs profile render and tuned it to 1/25.That'd certainly make the the most sense to me - I just thought I heard word 'round the campfire here how difficult GM was being about sharing that stuff.
Exotics_Builder Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 they probably used GMs profile render and tuned it to 1/25.That'd certainly make the the most sense to me - I just thought I heard word 'round the campfire here how difficult GM was being about sharing that stuff. At IHOBBY 2014, Revell said they had to go to a local dealer to get C7 photos and specs, particularly of the engine and bay. Chevy was VERY slow in providing data because of some previous experience with another company (unnamed) that released stuff too soon (don't know if that is early or approval only)
Matt T. Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 This F100 is gonna be kool! That scanner video was very neat.
iBorg Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I wonder if these will be in the clearance bin at Big Lots or Ollies first. Yawn........ Time to go back to sleep.

thatz4u Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 If all this hoopla leads to a new tool 56 F-100, I am good with that..
Impalow Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Well that addresses the new tooling questions and concerns!!! Woohoo!! All New Kits!!
Mike Chernecki Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 These better not be curbside type kits like Testors Boyds series (Chezoom & Alumacoupe)
Exotics_Builder Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 These better not be curbside type kits like Testors Boyds series (Chezoom & Alumacoupe)Hope not as well. But, Testors Boyd's series came in both detail and Quick Builder versions. I have the full detail versions of both in my stash.
horsepower Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Testors also offered the "Boyds Hauler" shop truck in quick build and full detail, I don't think I have any of the full detail versions left in the stash but have several of the other offerings.
matthijsgrit Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) Any news about the topic?yep....got the Revellations newsletter today.first 2 Foose kits were announced:The Vette http://revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-4397.html#.VpQBba_tSrV and the SRT8 http://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-4398.html#.VpQCpq_tSrU Edited January 11, 2016 by matthijsgrit
mrm Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I meant the all new tools. Chip's pickup and the Eldorod.
Len Woodruff Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I like the Caddy for sure and already have the Foose Vette.
Exotics_Builder Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 From what Revell said a few months back, the first of the all new tools will likely be first half of 2017. Since they're local and show up at events from time to time, we may learn more in the next 3-4 months.
dimaxion Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 More Revelle products I won't buy . As a resentful Factory Stock builder , these will never see the light of day in Stock Livery . No Thanx ..
mrm Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 These two are kits I am definitely interested in. Are there any news about them?
