Chuck Most Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This is the BRE reissue, with Fujimi BBS wheels and Aoshima bucket seats. It has a scratchbuilt hood and Detail Master hood pins. Other than that it's box stock. The graphics scheme and overall style were inspired by a drawing from automotive illustrator Scott "Fisch" Fischer. It's not an exact match, but it'll do for me.
Jonathan Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This gave me a smile, thanks for sharing!
Kit Basher Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 That looks great! I like everything about it. Ratsun.com, fake aircraft exhaust, gas filler pokin' out the back. Great paint and engine work.

Fantastic Chuck, I like it very much including the wild teeth!
Sparkhead42 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Sorta reminds me of the Roadkill team's "Rotsun" a 240z with a 4.3 liter Chevy and a power stroke turbo unit. Edited September 21, 2015 by Sparkhead42
Drake69 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Dude! Nice Rat!!!!!Japanese vintage rust-runners are so cool to watch on tracks like "24 Hours of Lemons", and I can see this thing plowing into the side panel of a Corrolla or Mazda racer with that "tiger shark" artwork leading the way!Excellent!
tbill Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 another cool build off your bench Chuck, keep them coming!
Zarana-X Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Nice work. I'm familiar with the origianl painting, having lurked around on Ratsun for references.
Chuck Most Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 Thanks guys. In case anyone was curious, this was the rendering that inspired me on this one.
