peekay Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Fantastic! I've never done any weathering but if I did, I would want it to be this subtle. (Love the Ban-The-Bomb trinket, too.)
Snake45 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Fabulous! I still say it's more "barn find" than "rat" but super-nice either way!
DumpyDan Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Well done, nice mix of parts flows very well. I like alot
Jantrix Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 A tremendously successful model. Great detail and very authentic looking weathering. Well done sir.
Belugawrx Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I like that James. Nice extra details all aroundCheers
MrBuick Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Love it! I always enjoy when people swap a Hemi into non-Mopar cars...I've never understood "don't put a ___ motor in a ___" people.
Metal Man Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 As you know, there's been many outstanding representations of this kit posted here, but yours definitely stands out! The subtlety of the weathering paired with all the added details makes it a joy to study. Of course, I love the hemi, but the old school pistol grip shifter is too cool! Well done sir!!
GTJUNIOR Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Beautiful, love the subtle weathering, looks just right.
espo Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Outstanding build. I agree with everyone else about the weathering.
TooOld Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 That is super nice , great work !It looks like the whole car (even the tires) is dusted with some kind of white . What did you use ?
Spex84 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Very cool weathering and detailing, I like the 40 Ford taillights! This one turned out great. I feel like the white highlights/dry-brush effect is maybe a little strong. It actually reminds me of screenshots of video game props, which is a neat effect!
Phildaupho Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I really like the air cleaner and interior extras and of course the weathering is perfectly done.
DrKerry Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 That is slick, I'd drive the heck out of that!!!!!!!
exesivefire Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Very clean build, which is hard to do on a dirty subject!
Bernard Kron Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 (edited) Very tastefully done and skillfully executed, full of well conceived details, and very well photographed. A treat to the eyes... Edited March 28, 2016 by Bernard Kron
