I agree about the vintage repops, especially since many of them have additional art added. I also have a number of van kits that would benefit from the dirty Don van decals. I did purchase a couple directly from Round2 but could use more. I was going to fire off a response to their post after seeing this but sitting awhile and thinking, there's quit a bit of subject matter that would be nice to see.

I think for many of their re-releases there are many of us who have older/original kits that could benefit from a new set of decals, take the newly issued '49 Ford coupe for example.

I post smy sugestion to the site here aswell:

Dents, dings, scratches and small rust spot decals.
And what about decals for United States Forest Service vehicles? I sure would like to see that.
And a "Make your own" licence plate sheet with blank plates depicting all states at a certain time period (say 1950s or 1960s) and letters and numbers that are separate and can be added to the blank plates.
And some custom decals with pinstripes, flames, murals, go-faster stripes etc. for all those custom vans and cars and hot rods.

The old sheets for sure. FORGET RAT RODS and BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH like "rust". Gauges and speed decals, everything is in the old AMT sheets.

Like I said in my comment, Chuck Farely rides again. If you know your olds AMT decals, you KNOW what I mean.

Uh, don't know why the BLAH BLAH, I didn't use any profanity!!!??? Jeeeeeez! lighten up.

I didn't realize how much interest there is for original box art decal sheets. I hope Round 2 does some indepth research uncovering the very best kits. It will be interesting to see what they come up with and decide on.

'60s sponsor decals, including both "old" and "new" styles (i.e., circle and parallelogram Hurst shifter decals). And put at least FOUR of each on each sheet, not just two, so you can use them on at least two different models.

Agree.  Also some 1950s-60s vintage NASCAR and general racing sponsor decals that are hard to find, like "Grey Rock Brake Lining," etc.

I'd love to see either R2 or Moebius do some full sheets of Carrera Panamericana decals.  Hudsons ran in that race for 1952-53 with some gorgeous graphics and sponsor markings.  I'm trying to make up my own for a '52 Hudson project, including some generic stuff like "California Hudson Dealers."

How about some Alternate Decals for their upcoming drag kits.

Lots of possibilities out there.

we think alike. Other decals for the lindberg 64 dodge and plymouth line would be ideal for me

As far as just some generic made up names  decals means nothing top me .

IMO, ( and i'm just using one kit as an example )  With the recent re-issue of the CMG kit they are obviously trying to get all they can out of the tool. .  I think they could get considerably more mileage out of it if they offered decals for other known cars from the same / similar time period . I think  would sell better and for more money. As an example some generic sheet with made up names/ graphics  sells for lets say $5-$7 range. A sheet to replicate an actual car , lets just say Bobby Harrops Flying Carpet Dodge could sell in the $8 to $10 range

But I just thought of something that would gum up the works, licensing and the fees that go with them. We can always hope that some of these drivers, or their estates would be sympathetic to the model building fans and not gouge Round 2 for license fees.

Some independent decal makers got away with it because they do not mass produce and usually keep it on the down low. Then there are the big name decal makers who got and get the permission to do them and pay the fees.

So sadly we would just be getting more generic, lame, decals for the drag kits.

That is some that I have not seen before, I have previously been in contact with this guy: http://www.jbot.ca/cars/us/usfr.shtml but these are all for modernday law enforcment. I could have wanted to have them for other types of vehicles aswell and for older types. I was lucky enoguh to get some trough Aaronw on this forum but there is nothing to my knowledge that is readily available out there that can be used to depict other types of vehicles used by the USFS. AMT have several models that could be great Forest Sercvice vehicles, like the Ford C-600 stake bed truck, the 60 Chevy pickup, the 72 Blazer, 67-72 Chevy and GMC pickups, the 73-79 Ford pickups and many others and if they released a stand alone decal sheet one could be using it on Revells new Bronco and the Moebius line of Ford pickups aswell as dozens of other kits.

Let me get this straight - those highly professional model kit popes suddenly seek the input of the unwashed plebs?
