Nothing going right now.

It will have to wait until everything is unpacked.

But this is a list of a few that are at the top of the list.

MPC 1966 Pontiac Bonneville hardtop.

MPC 1967 Pontiac Bonneville hardtop.

AMT 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Jimmy Flintstone 1961 Olds 88 bubble top.

AMT 1967 Ford Galaxie XL hardtop.

Johan 1967 Chrysler 300 hardtop.

Johan 1964 Dodge Polara hardtop

MPC 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T.

Johan 1962 Plymouth Fury convertible.

Johan 1964 Plymouth Fury hardtop.

I also plan on revisiting a Johan 1965 Plymouth Fury hardtop that I started some months ago.

Also in the running are:

AMT 1962 Pontiac Bonneville hardtop.

Johan 1959 Olds 98 4 door flat top.

Johan 1968 Chrysler 300 hardtop or convertible.

Johan 1966 Plymouth Fury convertible.

Johan 1967 Plymouth Fury hardtop.

I have a lot of work to do, but after not being able to do anything for the past 3 months, I'm looking forward to every second of it!!

Not counting the 3 cars that are in the purple pond, I'm inching along on a '59 Dodge Street Machine.  I'm using a Johan promo that I started on several years ago but which got misplaced.  I've recently rediscovered it while cleaning out my garage.  I ground out the grille from the rear and attached some PE mesh.  I sanded off the mold lines on the bumper, went over it with a polishing kit and used the Molotow marker to "rechrome" it, which came out great.  I opened up the hood and I'm using the chassis and Hemi engine from a 2005 Chrysler and am also considering trying to use the Chrysler's interior also.  It's a bit of a project...  Now if I could just get my life's events from getting in the way, I might actually be able to make some real progress on it.

I'm blown away by some of the lists here, I don't know how you could keep track of that many builds.  I have limited myself to 3 on the bench at any one time, I won't start another until one of those 3 is finished.

On the bench now:

1914 Model T fire car (ICM)

1967 Corvette coupe (Monogram)

1968 Chevelle hardtop (AMT)

Some of these are way longer than what I thought was a long list. I keep track of mine with a Workbench thread here ... can't think of a better way. :)

I'm enjoying seeing all the different things going on... and ...well... my list is nowhere near as impressive

83 Olds Cutlass x 2

65 Impala

69 Camaro

Because of gravity and a breeze my 70 Buick is now off the table and in the pond.

I do have a 71 GTX, a 78 Trans Am, and a 67 Chevelle in the early planning stages though.

It's good to see that I'm not the only one with a half-dozen or more--sometimes a LOT more--projects in the works at any given moment. I WISH I had the ability to focus and concentrate on one model and work it to completion, rather than get distracted by some newer, shinier project that....

...Hey look! A squirrel!

They don't!   :P

I think we need to better define "in progress".  Nobody has 50 projects in progress.  Maybe 50 that they did a little work on and pushed aside. Take a look at your work bench.  What is actually on it right now?

Me?  Dodge D50 pickup.  In progress and on the bench

1993 Ford Bronco

LOTS of planned builds, but nothing more than gathering parts so far.........

True, but the OP's question was "what's on your bench or slated for it".

Personally, I have nothing on the bench at the moment.

But I have a ton of stuff "slated for it".

Agreed,

All I listed are on my bench or just to the side of it and all get work done to them from time to time . My Golden Commandos car is box stock with nothing added except Fred Cady decals. The Lawman  64 Plymouth is  pretty close to that except a Johan hood scoop , an auto trans from another lindberg kit and a pre-wired dist.

Right now, Nothing is getting worked on. Models for me are a Fall and Winter hobby

The Superbird and the Challenger have never been far away from the immediate work area or my mind. But neither is box stock and are the 2 most detailed builds I've attempted in several years. My problem is I get bored with adding detail and the slow pace it requires so only work on those 2  when I have the inclination. I much prefer box stock builds. They're easier, smoother with less headaches ( most of the time )

You're partially right. My list does not include the many projects over the years I've started and walked away from. I consider my "in progress" projects the "A" list of things that keep coming back to the bench now and then or are currently on the bench.

I simply can't put my list here because it would turn this thread into multi-pages just from my list. All too often I will start on a project and then something else will grab my interest more, so the first gets put in the box and onto the next one. But the real problem is this is a never ending procedure. Probably have well over 100 kits in this state. Might go back and do a little on any of them and then back into the box and on the shelf. Always get hung up when it comes to painting because I know that is my worst part of finishing a model. Had what I considered a very good paint job on a '57 Black Widow I had painted outside and used a bent coat hanger for the holder. I started back inside and off the hager it went and before I could stop my foot I heard a very distinct "crack". I now had a multi piece body. And this was all done while the kit was not in production so no luck finding just a body. So it goes, onto the next and stopping at paint on everything for SOME reason! Oh yeah, I also need to clean off the bench from moving a bunch of things. A 12 foot countertop bench and no place to sit and build. Too many kits and not enough space. Someday I hope I get a little more organized.

64 Tempest convertible, 64 Thunderbird and a Jaguar XK120. Each of them could be completed in a few days but I just don't seem to get to it.

Currently on my workbench at this very moment is:

67 Thunderbird AMT restoration in Midnight Blue and is ready for clear coat.

67 Mercury GT40 Daytona car in red. Bodywork mostly done and in first primer.

69 GTX Johan kit in final primer. Time to pick a color for it.

68 Cougar GT AMT kit in final primer. Also deciding on a color for it.

69 Charger 500 Revell kit in B5 blue. Body is done and cleared. Hood and plain steel wheels are getting repainted now.

I have many more started and just off to the side of my work bench.

almost done are:

My Cannonball entry is sitting there on the bench. Close by are my Lindberg Trans Am and Camaro, waiting their turns for a Cannonball style build and four Monogram curbside Porsche 911s.
