carl63_99 Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I've got several pics of my California Street Vette, picking one is a challenge!
Harry P. Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 It's impossible to pick just one... I have dozens of favorite photos, but here's just one... Just one more. Sorry... I had to...
StevenGuthmiller Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 My favorite build is usually my last one.....until the next one is finished. I won't kid myself. I'm no photographer. But, if I had to pick one of my favorites, it would probably be my '60 Dodge Dart. Steve
jaymcminn Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 My Ferrari 250 California was probably my most photogenic model, and I think this is the best picture...
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Favorite shot AND the closest to being finished...

Impalow Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Great old thread! Just spent over an hour looking at all these great photos... here is mine.

Pete J. Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I'm a little like Harry, I don't have just one photo, but I can limit it to two that I like the best. Both have been my avatar and wall paper from time to time, so I guess that qualifies as making a favorite because when I look at them it makes me happy or proud or both.
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Man you guys are good. Lotsa really beautiful work here.

Mr Stock Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Ill go with this one, my first proper attempt at weathering and i just love this old truck .......
jbwelda Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) I always thought this photo ranked up with the best of my model shots. simple background and layout makes the model pop out at the viewer. except that the dang rear moon disk is not centered. its always something. enjoy seeing all these photos in this thread. jb Edited August 12, 2015 by jbwelda
charlie8575 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Glad this one turned up. Lots of neat stuff.Charlie Larkin
peekay Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Still learning but this my favourite at the moment - mainly because I managed to get the "paint" (it's polished plastic) to shine for the camera. In previous shots of this (and other models painted in lighter shades) there was no surface reflection in the paint whatsoever. I managed this by sticking strips of black paper to the walls of my light box to represent the horizon. These are off-camera but create the darker reflections you see, eg. in the roof.
