bogger44 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Wow that is really nice. I don't mind the big wheels, they do fill up those wheelwells nicely. I'm not always a fan of this look but this one looks good IMO. Beautiful paint and detailing all around.
skid896 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 I like it, reminds me of the look that all the USA restoration shows try to get, that I enjoy watching.
Sixties Sam Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Great looking Riv! I always liked the boattails! Nice work! Sam

Snake45 Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Now there's something you don't see every day! Great finish and the color suits it well.

Happy building in the New Year! Agree 100%. Beautiful build.
ChrisR Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Also not a fan of the wheels but otherwise awsome!
Johan020 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Super Nice build this is one model iT should be Made by one of the kit companys gotta love the boattail Buick’s
Reuhkapelti Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 What a great build of a great car. I have always thought that a Boattail Buick is one of the coolest design of American cars. I was very close to buy one 1:1 a few years ago, but then I measured the lenght of the body and realized it doesn't fit in my carage. So I bought a '70 Pontiac instead. I think those big wheels suit well in this big car and the paint job is amazing. I have one resin kit in stash, but the body is slightly warped, so I haven't picked it on the table yet.
NuovoSFPD2n3/4 Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 (edited) WUNERFUL! just WUNERFUL! I have one too, makes me want to add to the hundred others already on the workbench. Edited March 1, 2019 by NuovoSFPD2n3/4
geetee66 Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I really love this shape/model year. Just gorgeous. It's plain to see how much work went into your superb build. I like the wheels. They fit the overall proportions of the car. If only the big names would produce a kit of this...
yellowsportwagon Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 I guess I’m the of man out here. I love the big wheels on this. The boattails only flaw to me was the tires sat too far inboard. These tall rims and wide tires fill that gap the way it always should have been, Nice job Jim!!
rickcaps55 Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Awesome build the colors are spot on for the 70's i think i had 3 dark brown cars in the 70's it was a great look then.
TransAmMike Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Very nice build to the best looking Riv. As far as the custom wheel comment, to each his own and I respect that, but custom wheels are not a problem, but the extreme oversize look is probably the issue.
Dominik Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 cooooool, like it! also with the big wheels. in my opinion, the Riviera is "made" for big or stock wheels ?
Sam I Am Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 We had a '73 growing up. Loved that car. You did an awesome job with yours.
