Great looking Chaparral !  Those IMC kits are a bear to assemble but were nicely detailed , you've done an excellent job !

Thanks sorry about the focus on a couple of those photo's. I remember when I was 12 and seeing pictures of the real deal and that's what stoked my passion for Chaparrals. I am working on the ARII version of the 2-C now and I wanted to do it box stock but that's not happening B) it's going to be a modified box stock. Lots of new found cuss words came with this build

Very nice result, William - Chaparral's only CanAm winner.

I sold this kit 25 years ago after the trouble I had with the Ford Mk IV and the J-Car.

I'm thinking of doing the same with Arii's 2 C :it is missing almost everything - only the body looks more or less acceptable, everything else is wrong or totally missing and would have to be scratchbuilt - what do you think about it?

Wow! fantastic work on a difficult kit. The IMC kits are cool, but man, they're tricky to get together cleanly. You have done a marvelous job on this one.

Mr. Brown, where did you get the decals for that build??  I have built that kit, but the decals were trashed and I've never been able to find a duplicate set.
