The hood vents, roof vents, and wheel covers are distinctly and uniquely '63, even though the window split can't be seen in this view.

I had one of these kits in 1965. They were very nice kits. Were called "All Stars" back then

The trim around the windshield is unique to '63 also...except AMT never changed it on their '64-'67 promos or kits!

Yup. MPC (their first Vette was '64) got this right for the later ones, just about the only thing I like more about the MPC body than the AMT.

I have to think those'd be better sellers than a Squarebird, but maybe not? Maybe this is the last of the 1/32 Scale Stars from AMT.

These kits had a reason in 1965 when 1/32 slot cars were hot.

All right! I love this series of kits. Simple and beautiful kits. And vehicles I like. Now they need to reissue the '32 (3-window!) and the '40.

Wasn't that kit 1/25th and unrelated to the 1/32nd kits?

I think the '40 Ford is the only one of the 1/32nd All Stars that hasn't been reissued.
