Brianl Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 This was inspired by some artwork I came across on the net but if you think about it, it is pretty much in line with the early hot rods. If you take a '32 Ford Coupe, make it more aerodynamic by chopping the roof & dropping the guards, add a big racing motor in the back and you get something not to dissimilar to this... I think. Anyway it was a fun build. Brian
Foxer Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Building cars like this is one of the best parts of Model Cars, especially when compared to models of just about everything else. I built a hot rod from a computer mouse and a VW and had more fun than the staid '57 Chevy! eheh Very cool!
Anglia105E Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Scratch building at it's best...... liking this clever build. David
John Verkerk Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 That's pretty kool!!! Great job on all the details!
espo Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 I like this. It's kind of like Formula 1 meets Prototype race car with a touch of Mad Max. You blended all of the elements together and came up with something very special.
Jantrix Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Very cool work. You really threw out the rule book. Well done.
bbowser Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 A Renault dirt modified, who would have thought? Great concept and execution!
Silver Foxx Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Looks awesome Brian , nice to see that your imagination is running wild again , well done .
Brianl Posted May 6, 2018 Author Posted May 6, 2018 Thanks for the encouraging remarks. I really enjoy these types of builds. They make you think as they have to look integrated & possible, if not plausible.... huh! Have a good one Brian
