Tabbysdaddy Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 I guess this is my favorite box art. It's the only one I display upright so I can see the top. 1

That Merc box art brings back my memory of my uncle buying me that kit at a 7-11! Luckily I have one in my stash. But my fave from that era is this one with the mechanic trying to improve an already awesome car! I remember getting that one loooong ago...ahh memories
pack rat Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Not often seen or very well-known, I've always liked the original AMT Mini-Trophy boxes. Replicating a couple of these renderings in 1/25 scale is on my to-do list, although it might never happen. 1 1

I have a few of them lying around here, in parts.

Or more accurately, the Union Models Re Issued kits! Quite a few U.S. molds found their way into their collection. And featured pics of some very nicely done builds!

I love how there's no driver in it, and it's supposed to be jumping... over what, I have no idea. Although I would like to see what's inside the box. Were 4 door 510s used a lot in racing?
keyser Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 (edited) Mostly rally for 4d, some jdm races. Trans Am under 2.5 were 2 doors, crushed it. Hence BRE 510. Killer cars, had 4w irs, handled great. I had one in 70’s, punched way above its weight. Still love’em.
