Don't know where that list came from, but the '55 Chevy sedan, '70 Chevelle, and '71 Duster have already been available for some time now.

Probably just indicating restocking...

Based on the OP's listed address, maybe these are expected dates for release in Canada? Or at least when they expect these items from their distributor?

Aaaah........I had one of these when I was a kid. This would have been circa 1968-69 time frame. I'd LOVE to have a kit of this if indeed it makes it to the shelves! It's crazy how much money the 1:1's can go for these days!

It is coming out for sure, my guy at Round2 asked me if I wanted a copy to build (and I couldn't say yes fast enough) so it's for sure being issued.

He just didn't say exactly when but I'd guess within the next 60 days.

I lived in Germany in that era and I had a Raleigh Chopper!  Orange one here got stolen and was replaced with a yellow one.

I got the AMT Double 1925 T kit when it first came out in the early sixties but I know nothing about this 1923 T kit although I see lots for sale on-line. Can anyone fill me in on the history of this kit. It looks like it has some pretty cool parts.

The '23 roadster kit came out in the mid-Seventies.  It has no parts in common with the '25 kit.  It does share some stock parts with the '23 panel delivery and Depot Hack kits, and shares its optional parts with the terrible, short-lived AMT '34 Ford three-window coupe kit.

That's my local shop.

Scott gets a lot of his stock from the US. He has a drop off in Maine and makes a trip every week.

I'm not sure if that's where his Round2 stock comes from but I think it is.

Anyone know what the "2T" means for the CHP Monaco?

No idea! But I just had a few thoughts:

1) It's possible that Round 2 could offer multiple building options for a CHP car in the same box, with absolutely minimal changes to the contents (mostly decals and assembly options): regular patrol car (I'm not sure what to call this except for "car with standard lightbar assembly"), slick top, & training car (these looked more or less the same as the slick top: with no light bar, but instead of door shield graphics, they had large black numbers on the doors). With the right packaging, that would make a super-cool collectible!

2) if they do one with the lightbar, then I think the lightbar in the current Goon Car tool would be incorrect. It looks to me like the lightbar from the old "Force 440" kit would be more accurate for a CHP car (and it was much better detailed), so I'd be very happy if they could find and swap in this part of the Monaco tool for this reissue.

3) Round 2 just did a nice set of steel wheels for the 1978 Dodge Pickup kit. Since the wheels in the Goon Car are stupid-wide, it would be nice if they threw these wheels in with the new CHP car too, along with the MPC Goodyear Polysteel tires. It seems that Round 2 will occasionally create a new wheel tool that would lend itself to being included in more than one kit to add value, so this would be a no brainer. If there is a huge flaw with this kit, it's the stupid-wide wheels and tires. Extra points for doing a new steering wheel, since the "Tuff" wheel in the kit was probably never used in a Cop Car.

Rigth, CHP used the Federal Signal Twinsonic light during that era not the Federal Signal AeroDynic that was made for the TJ Hooker/DOH/Joker Goon/GPD version( and GPD in the first Batman movie used the Twinsonic bar ) .    The lightbar in that Force 440 kit is very close to the Twinsonic, maybe we will get lucky and they will swap out the lightbars, maybe we should start a email campaign.   The slick top CHP units from that time had three lights in the rear window, Red/Amber on the left and Blue on the right, and the drivers side spotlight was Red.

My guess, if anything, maybe it will be the new set of wheels from the Dodge kit.

I'm hoping so.

I don't know much about the bikes but I think the only difference was the name on the chain guard and the color, right?

Isn't there an all red Twinsonic on the Datsun Monster Truck that Round2 had out in 2016?

Why yes there is

The third blue light on the right didn't start until 1984. But apart from that, I share your sentiments about the potential of an "updated" CHP Monaco. I bought a Joker goon kit right before this announcement, but if they do it right, I'll buy more. I expect they'll use the same CHP decals from the 1970 Ford police car kit. I hope they do as those are extremely accurate and I'd buy the kit just for those.

Yes!  The American Post Exchange in Europe sold Raleigh bikes.

It looks like the "2T" suffix isn't unique to the Monaco, as the forthcoming '67 GTO, 74 Road Runner, and '69 Charger all have the same suffix as part of the product description on multiple websites. Maybe similar to how Round2 added the "M" suffix to some kits?

Probably some sort of internal product categorization... the '69 GTX convertible, 'Old Pro' Nova, '70 Chevelle SS, ''77 Pinto are also listed as '2T' on Tower Hobbies...

Yeah, curious as to what it means.
