Dennis Lacy Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Here's 3 traditional hot rods I finished last year.
Lordmodelbuilder Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 All very nice builds! Are the rims on the last car from the Orange Crate kit?

styromaniac Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 All good....but that black pick up is one of my all time favorites....great color choices, stance...love the wheels and wide whites.
peekay Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Excellent! Obviously a lot of thought has gone into getting the right look.

espo Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 I like the build style of these, and they are all finished perfectly. Always nice to see a properly done Flat Head. The small block looks good,. 265 Exhaust Manifolds ?
Snake45 Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Very, VERY nice, all of them! Well done and model on!
Allen Wrench Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 Those are all simply lovely. Dennis, you are a master!
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) Three beauties. Nice work. Are there wips for these? Edited January 4, 2019 by bobthehobbyguy
Tom Geiger Posted January 4, 2019 Posted January 4, 2019 I'd steal that pickup if it was 1:1! Super builds! A man after my own heart!

misterNNL Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Beautiful builds all around, you should be proud to add these to your livery. If I were picking favorite it would be the '32. Simply beautiful with smack on details. Thanks for sharing.
Hoffman Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Dennis, I always look forward to seeing your next build. It's like waiting for the latest issue of Hot Rod Deluxe to arrive in the mail...….."It's here? Yeah!!! Stop everything, sit down and soak in every detail!!" Thanks for sharing, and Happy New Year!

Both flatheads are kit-bashed using various Revell source kits like they're '40 Ford, '48 Ford Convertible and '48 Ford Custom Coupe. They come with very nicely engraved heads and intakes. In both cases I stripped the chrome plating off of the heads and detail painted them. I also added the usual ignition wires and fuel plumbing.

They are my most recent completions so if you search my posts they should be easy to find. The red coupe is especially we documented. I never did a project thread for the black truck. Not on this site, anyhow.
