Spectacular! I, too, am interested in seeing what corrections had to be made in order to bring the model up to standard. What a classy piece of work :) I've always like the Zephyr and stock versions are seldom seen in scale so this is a treat.

“Ok” is a slight understatement. That is a beautiful model. The color seems to “match” the flow of the car’s design brilliantly.

Wow. These things had gorgeous lines, well captured in the model. Can you elaborate a little on everything you had to do to correct it?

X2.

Wow! That's a real beauty! Whatever body corrections you had to do, they seem to be turned out very nice. Overall, a very nice and clean Zephyr, hard to find anything that I'd do otherwise.

This is one of those bodies that I'd like to have in scale. I'll have to buy a resin kit to turn it into a Traditional Custom.

Thank you for the positive comments. I will post more builds soon. Been a while since the build so I have probably forgotten some things.

The hood was waay to big, had to be shortened and narrowed.

The cowl was a mess.

the upper portion of the doors were sunk way in. Beyond the warm water straitening method.

Where the lower "rocker panel" area met the fenders was very messy.

Had to rework the area from below the C pillars along the top of the rear fender all the way to the bumper.

the roof was waay to thick. lots of grinding.

all lines rescribed, new drip rails over the doors and all new side moldings were made.

new windshield and rear window moldings (countersunk, that was fun) were made.

The sad thing is, is that the basic shape of the body was excellent, with more time spent on the master it could have been an awesome kit.

It came from Air Trax of Finland.

Worth every minute you spent on it. Gorgeous from every angle.

and that paint!! The shine is a mile deep!

Top notch work ( as always!). This is the kind of quality most of us aspire to, but seldom achieve.
