Finished this one a bit ago . Try as I might I could not get top to fit quite right . I stopped messing with it because I was afraid I would mess it up . I see a few touch ups are still needed .

Love the Shelby drag cars. !!! The road race cars received the most attention but those drag cars were really fast and cool!!! Great build!! Did you make the headers? They look perfect. Did Tony Storer do most of the drag  racing? As I recall he could barely see over the steering wheel. But he was fast! Cool build!

Thanks. Those are kit headers. I know the problem with the top is the side windows but was afraid to break them off and reset them. Perhaps I should.

Nice job.  Now go enjoy a King Cobra beer on a job well done.

Disclaimer - drink responsibly and do not try to build models when buzzed.

Very cool Cobra! I built this kit in high school about 20 years ago. Love the story how the owner of Baldwin motion (Joel Rosen) bought this 427 Cobra. Drove it to Englishtown NJ and set a new record time.

Whenever I see a Cobra, I think of you Ray.  I was looking at pics of drag cars on the H.A.M.B. and saw some vintage drag cobras.  Not something you see everyday but they were just evil looking (in a good way of course).   cheers
