Vincent631
First build of '19 is complete! This was a fun build, it's for my dad who loves to drink Coke!! I chose to hold the roof on with a piece of tape until I decide how I'm going to glue it down permanently. It gives you a good view of the interior. I also regret using the exhaust support. It's not on the real life hot rod. I guess it's there to hold up the headers for kids who would build this model in the 70s. I didn't know and glued it in place before I realized. What do you think of my first build of 2019? Edited March 14, 2019 by Vincent631
vamach1
Pretty cool indeed. Perhaps some doll house bottles or cans in the interior would add to the theme. Is anything in the cooler?

bbowser
I'm not normally into such things, but this is cool! Very nicely done.
tmb727
Very nice work. I don't think it would be just kids who would have problems getting those long, heavy (in scale, at least) headers to stay in place without the aid of that support piece. And it looks just fine to me - I never would have guessed that was an issue if you had not mentioned it. Great looking show rod!
