Michael Kröger Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Hallo Finish my 1950 Ford F6 Tow Truck after 5 Years. Build from the Revell 50 Pickup mit Chassy from Italery Opel Blitz and Engine from 1948 Ford Woody. The rest is mostly scratch from Styrol Sheet. Hope you like it. Greatings
TarheelRick Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Beautiful build. Really like the subtle weathering on the inner wheel wells of the bed. Very nice scratchbuilding on the box and boom assembly.
Atmobil Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Fantastic looking wrecker!! You have many great little details there. That would look perfect in a diorama with some broken down 40s/50s car on tow, maybe away from an accident scene with a policecar and som "ossifers" taking down statements.
Chariots of Fire Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Very nicely done! Love the weathering and the Holmes 600! Great job!
redneckrigger Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Very nice work on that! Looks like a museum piece!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 That is one excellent build!! Very clean work!!
CRUSADER2 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Looks great, a really lovely detailed and neat build, paint job, weathering and decals really make it. Excellent work !!!
Spex84 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Beautifully done. I like the subtle weathering, the paint and gold decals, roof light, etc etc. The towing rig looks like it's ready to hook up some cars! Is there a WIP thread for this awesome truck?
BIGTRUCK Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Really nice work , the color combo really fits it.
Michael Kröger Posted March 23, 2019 Author Posted March 23, 2019 Thanks to all for the Compliments, feel honored! Greatings
TECHMAN Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Fantastic job on the build!!! How much did you have to add to the width of the front fenders? DJ
