This started as a donated body shell. Power is a supercharged Corvair which I think looks pretty cool. I got used to the scrappy yellow body while I was building it & couldn't decide on a final colour so I just left it "unfinished". Tried out a few ideas like the exposed framework and rear seating position, stuff I might use on later "finished" projects. Something different anyway....

You have some serious looking tires going on. I like the thrown together look. Nice tube chassis showing. The blown Corvair engine  is a unique idea and why not.

Cool ideas! I love the supercharged corvair mill. Funny, I've had a '27 Touring set aside for several years now with the intent of putting an AMT parts-pack Corvair with dual Webers into it, but it would be '70s resto-rod style rather than the edgy, contemporary competition look you've achieved here.

I also like the skeletal exposed-frame look, and the way the front end looks well-balanced and complete even with the hood removed.

Thanks for the comments. I was a bit worried about posting it with the unfinished look so I'm happy you get it. That Corvair motor can work very well with a lot of hot rod ideas. I think some Porsche kits come with triple throat down draught webbers. That would look awesome.

This is an awesome build. I really like the overall style. I'm currently working on the Lindberg T Bucket. If it doesn't work out I could always build something similar.

The unfinished tub gives the impression of a fiberglass body, kind of like if a 1/1 builder did the same thing with just spare parts. I like the look.
