Finished with build #2 for 2019. Revell 1962 Corvette Roadster in 1/25 scale. Color is Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green and cleared with Tamiya TS-13 Clear. The  interior is done in Apple Barrel Khaki craft paint with a couple coats of DecoArt Duraclear Satin Clear to add a little shine because the khaki went on very flat. I had a hard time with the BMF on the tops of the fenders and am not 100% satisfied with it, but it will do for now. I did not do ignition wires on this one, even though I could use the practice, simply because of the nature of the engine compartment they would not be seen anyway.

This was a great kit with a high parts count and was very well detailed. The decal sheet was excellent and included two sets of gauges and lots of other goodies to really make some of the finer details easy . Everything fit well and it was a very enjoyable kit to put together.

Your color choice is "daring" but this combo sure looks good, especially with the customs wheels. I agree with you that this kit is great indeed. I think you did good on the BMF too, and I certainly know what a pain-in-the-BLAH the fender parts are. I ended up making pre-cut BMF stripes. Worked out fine for me. If you don't mind me showing:

I really like your color for the body and the interior.  Did you glue the trunk lid shut or does it open ? I fought that with the one I built a couple of years ago. Looking at this I have to build another more along your build theme.

I agree with the other comments in that this is a sharp looking build and the color combo really makes it stand out.  Not sure what you are saying about the BMF, as it looks great to my eyes even when I expand the picture.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Razor sharp Vette! I really dig that color/interior combo.

Thanks guys, I was initially concerned about interior color, but it turned out pretty good.

I really like the color combo on yours and the fender chrome looks great. I actually thought about doing the same thing with making pre-cut stripes.

Thanks! No, the body is all one piece, but the panel lines were molded pretty deep, so it would not be hard to cut the trunk and doors open should someone be willing. I'm just not that daring with my builds yet, LOL.

Great looking 'Vette! I like the colors, and the foil looks good to me - better than most of mine!

Sam

Thanks guys! The pics don't really show some of the miscuts and unevenness of the foil on the fenders probably due to the lighter body color. Tommy124's foil job is much better and cleaner than mine. I'm beginning to take it a little easier on myself on this one, but we are our own worst critics too, and I'm sure you guys do some pretty good foil work yourselves.
