cdubya Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 I intended to do this kit stock but some parts were lost during a move. So I decided to modify it a little with a 95 Corvette ZR1 kit.
espo Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 That's the way a "55" is supposed to look. Period correct colors, perfect stance, killer motor.
berr13 Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Modify it a "little", you say? What color is that? That's a really fine looking model!!
cdubya Posted May 12, 2019 Author Posted May 12, 2019 Thanks for the comments everyone. It was a fun build. My first time kit bashing and using BMF. Berr13--I used Rust-oleum Seaside Blue (without the added primer) to replicate the Regal Turquoise paint from 1955.
BigTallDad Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Very nicely done! Are you going to touch up the V8 emblems (below the taillights) with a molotow pen?
Koellefornia Kid Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Very nice ´55, Chris! Just the way I like it!
cdubya Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 Ray--To be honest, I had to Google what a Molotow pen is (a lot of new products came out while I was away from building). I'll touch up the V8 emblems as soon as I get one.
signguy2108 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Good looking car, one of my favorite color combo's
