shoopdog Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 (edited) Oh man I'm loving it! I picked this kit up on clearance just the other day. The color you used is what I intend to paint mine. Wondering did you airbrush this and what brand and color did you use, I'm going to have to find something close in a rattle can. I believe the factory color was Sunset Rose. Your build turned out great! Edited July 7, 2019 by shoopdog
RichCostello Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Krylon has a color called Coral Isle that is really close.
ewetwo Posted July 8, 2019 Author Posted July 8, 2019 Thanks guys. And Richard. You hit the color right on. With Duplicolor primer first.
Claude Thibodeau Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Hi! Good looking, David! Brings back memories of the "pastel wave" at the end of the 50's. That very color was often refered to as "Coral" if I remember correctly. An old lady on my street had a Nash Metropolitan in the same hue. Memories... CT
Muncie Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Dave, beautiful color, looks great, background diorama really shows it off.

ewetwo Posted July 10, 2019 Author Posted July 10, 2019 Thank you John and Carl. I have another in the works once my finger heals and I can put a rubber glove on. Can’t paint until then.
