jjsipes Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Painted Tamiya Maroon with Krylon Almond interior with Tamiya Semi-Gloss Clear. Champagne Embossing powder for carpet. Wheels are from Moebius 65 Belvedere with Amt Parts Pack Whitewalls
MrObsessive Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Jason, that turned out really, really NICE! As I might have mentioned before, I'm glad you used the Revell kit as I still think between this and the AMT, the Revell has a more accurate body and is just better detailed considering it's much newer. Very nicely done interior, and I like the use of the champagne colored embossing powder for the carpet. MUCH more realistic in this instance than flocking!
David G. Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Looks great Jason! Your interior work is so nicely done it's almost a shame to have to hide it by putting the body over top of it. The paintwork and detail on the body looks great too. The badges and scripts add a lot to it. David G.
jjsipes Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Thanks for the comments. It just feels good to get something completed. Don't get much time to work on a model much anymore. Most of the Maroon Impala's I see has black interior in them but I thought the lighter interior would (and does) look great with the Maroon.
espo Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Great looking build. I agree with you on the color combination. The lighter colored interior actually makes the exterior standout even more. Very clean assembly and I also like the day 2 wheels.
Cpt Tuttle Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I prefer the cream interior over a black one for this paintjob. Nice looking chevy!
carrucha Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Nice build. I agree with the others on the good job on the interior.
oldscool Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Outstanding. Nice to see one that isn't a lowrider.

Rider Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Great looking work on the BMF, nice work on the interior.
