tuffone20 Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 I built this one for our clubs monthly theme. You had to use the Monogram 1929 Ford Roadster Pickup and this is how I built mine. 1
TarheelRick Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Very cool little pickup. Looks like something a farmboy would have thrown together. I like it.
Snake45 Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Very nice! And with the fuel cell in the bed, it can't be considered a "truck" anymore, it's a ROD and should remain in this section! Well done and model on!
Jantrix Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 I dig it. The Revell Model A chassis and engine look right at home there. Well done.
Tom Geiger Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Very cool! I have one of those I built from an old built up. I love that series of Monogram Model A's. And I hope to own a 1:1 roadster pickup similar to this one day!
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Nicely done. The modern fuel-cell works remarkably well with the otherwise very traditional build.

Rocking Rodney Rat Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Very nicely done, the combo of original kit and Revell '29 roadster parts goes together well. -RRR
Sixties Sam Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Very nice build! Clean, old school hot rod. Sam
Snake45 Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Well, I tried to help keep it in the rod section. Glad I was able to see it before it got kicked downstairs here--I'd have missed it. (I minimize the truck section and never look at it.) My condolences.

It's a lot of fun but a certain amount of headaches as well. After all the truck is 90 years old!

Earl Marischal Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 The model as built looks waaaaay better than the box art. steve
