My guess.

Between 250 and 300 .

I think that might be pretty close.

I doubt very much that it will go for the $150.00 that it's at right now with 6 days left in the bidding.

These are tough to find and this one looks like it's in pretty much pristine condition.

Hmmm, decisions, decisions, do I pay the mortgage, or buy a model kit?

$ 150.00 seems really reasonable, this kit is pretty rare!

It seems to me that Ebay prices have gone down lately.

I never bid, just buy now if it's something I want and feel the price is good.

Look around, lots of less desirable kits go for more!

I say 200-250 tops!

This completed kit is the only survivor I have from my first childhood in modeling.  I built it as a S&M fuel-injected racer although I painted mine silver.  It is in the process of being restored to a Day-2 stock.  I still have the headers and the cheater slicks.  I have replaced both bumpers and the hood with Modelhaus pieces.  Got to figure out how to get the kink out of the left front fender.  That came up after I stripped it, repainted the body, and put it in the dehydrator.

I'm not embarrassed to say I have paid up to $300 for a kit I really wanted.

Those types of kits are not coming back so I have just a few of them, and NOT a basement full like some.

If I was a Chrysler fan (not),  and needed this or just plain liked it?    I'd say go for It!

Just tell everyone else you got it for cheep ? and eat Ramen for a couple weeks.LOL!

I put a bid on it. But I will not increase it though. It would stink if I lost it by a buck or two. There are only 42 others interested in it.  If by some miracle, I actually do win it, I don’t think the value will depreciate much, if I need to sell it to buy more Ramen.

Out of curiosity I'm watching this one. Thank goodness I have one of these.........a very restorable one with no box however. I've also got a '65 promo which has a cracked A pillar. A very easy fix if/when the time comes I want to restore that one.

I expect this one to crack the $200+ mark. Seeing these in this shape with the original box can be very few and far between. Another reason I like clean builtups that haven't been glued to death. Still, it depends on who's watching and how badly someone wants a particular model. I've seen even builtups go for CRAZY money! A certain Johan '66 Chrysler 300 comes to mind which I happen to have, but not till after I got into a bidding war.

Won't be doing that again anytime soon!

I think I’ll probably get out bid. If not... good for Tom! I also have another bid on another JoHan, and I think I’ve got that one in the bag. This one though, not so sure. We will see what happens in a few days.Fingers crossed.

I have come to realize over the years trying to get back some of the old kits from my youth.  I too...myself have bid on some old rare kits....hoping to win...only to get sniped in the last second & $50 bid jump...I did not win it.

The just of my comment. .....Three weeks later.....a certain seller "just" happens to have this exact kit being parted out piece by piece and a starting price of $4.95 / part.....times lets say 97 kit pieces .....equals.

I suggest bid high if you really want it......if nothing else you will have raised his initial investment.

Or wait & buy it one part at a time.   ?

I passed up a Fury like this and a flat box '67 Fury back in 1998 at a show in Detroit. Both kits wudda cost me a whopping $100.00!

Good advice.

It’s terrible to see people parting out those old, original kits.

I kinda understand why they do it, but I'd rather see them dismantle an old glue-bomb and sell it off a piece at a time.

The comment ' I have not done a piece by piece inventory '  may hold it back from top dollar . It would me.

I would like to have one of these, ( actually would prefer a 65 )  But if it stays  under $200, I may sneak in at the end ,,,    might ,,,,,

Ya know, I do understand why someone would want to spend that much on a model.

After all,, what would you really rather have, a $300 '66 Fury or 10 $30 '32 Ford kits? Just depends how much you'd rather have the Plymouth.

Me?,, I'm quite happy with my cheap resin re-pop.

Well, Bill I had a bid of $200 on it and I was just outbid. That’s it for me, I can’t afford to go any higher.

Then I'm out before I was in

That was my max I was willing to go.  And I would have built it at some point. the days of me buying shelf ornaments are over.
Although I do have a few that will remain untouched , I don't have ANYWHERE near this kind of $$$$ in them
