Tom99 Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 I was able to get this1961 Mercury convertible, from one of the forum members. Since it was something I didn't have in my large model collection, I felt it would be worth the effort. It is painted with Scalefinishes, 1961 Mercury Regency Turquoise. Here are some before and after pictures. 1
disconovaman Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 I love Glue bombs! and this one is definitely worth the Save!
MrObsessive Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Another Great Save! Just commented on a well saved Camaro and now this beauty!
gtx6970 Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 WOW. That was quick, and turned out really nice. especially the color. Love it
MrObsessive Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 I've got a real ratty one of these that I'll get the ambition to restore someday. Not long ago, I found an uptop for it as I think the early '60's Fords and Mercuries were some of the best looking cars as convertibles with their tops up. I'd like mine to look like this one below.

Bucky Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Great rescue of a very nice looking Merc! I have a 1960 rebuilder convertible kit in the stash that I hope to get to, maybe next year!
