Eric Macleod Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 I had that kit for a while and sold it off. Mine never would have looked as good as yours!
crazyjim Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Excellent build. Love the color whatever it is.
vamach1 Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Very last cat and the interior is fantastic. Nice background too. I forget what engine came in that kit.
espo Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Excellent Showroom style build. All of the little trim details look correct.
Roadrunnertwice Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Great looking build of an often overlooked part of automotive history. I don't remember this kit well enough to know if the vinyl top came with it, or if that was your doing. Either way, it looks great, and so does the dashboard!
YBlock292 Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 Thanks everybody! The structure of the "vinyl-top" was already molded in the roof by AMT.
Bainford Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Cool Cougar! That’s about the neatest build I’ve seen of this kit. Nicely done.
1972coronet Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Absolutely outstanding , Herr Ludwig ! I've been tempted by the allure of that kit for a long time , yet its Sirens' Call hath been ignored by yours truly for 30+ years . Your example has catalysed my interest in tracking one down now ! Keep up the great work !
Oldcarfan27 Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 (edited) Nice build on this often overlooked kit. Makes me want to do one in that bizarre mustard yellow and camel interior that seemed to be so popular back then. Edited January 26, 2020 by Oldcarfan27

(I have some mustard in the fridge!) LoL Seriously, I like that color!
Tommy124 Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Hi Ludwig, another "great all over" build! Very nice detailing in the interior section. Nice to see you took on the detail painting in body color on the bumper top and between the grille and the headlights section. It makes a LOT of a difference!
carrucha Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Nice build. Good work detailing the interior.
Claude Thibodeau Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Hi Ludwig! Great built! I had one of those in 1974, and your interior is so "real", it brought back memories of my time behind the wheel. Bravo! CT
Hmann68 Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Wow that’s nice! My dad had one in yellow, I was really young but I thought it was a cool car ?
