I'll have to look at the Milliput that I got, must be different than yours because it didn't get really hard.  I'll have to look for that Tamiya polish!  Looking good Dann the man!

Thanks, Bud!, Milliput needs to be sealed VERY tightly, or it goes bad sooner than it should. I love my Tamiya polish, and wax!!

Another informative and entertaining build thread!

For all the years that I've been building models, there are still tips, pointers and ideas that I pick up from following your builds.

Thanks for taking the time to throw them at us Dann!

I just stumbled across this thread. I like what you have done with the glass. I have the same kit on the bench, and the bubble-like glass is the most disappointing part of the kit. I figured it was unworkable, and set about making a new windscreen out of .010" clear plastic. But the kit body is designed to use the deeply relieved glass, and therefore my new windscreen was too deep-set into the body. It wasn't a good look. It never occurred to me to try to sand the back of the kit glass. It's a much better solution. Cheers.

Thanks, Trevor!, there is another way to make your own windscreen, but it involves cutting off the molded in trim, and adding your own -scaled down trim. I dont think it would be too bad. I know that i really eliminated most of the problem, as seen by the photos, but will it be good enough for me, as picky as i am?....not sure. I would really hate to have the body painted, then find out that once the interior is in, there is still something i cant live with, then i'd be forced to take a chance at cutting out the already painted trim......maybe i should just make my own to avoid a possible mess....

Hey, everyone!...got another update here!....the body is all ready for clear coat now, and i painted up the wheels....now i just have to decide if i'm gonna build the interior that Fujimi made (which has a center column i've NEVER seen before on ANY Pantera), or make it the factory way?....any thoughts?

Great color choice! It has a very 70's vibe to it.

Thanks, Bud!, thats the look i was going for, but with monster treads, lol. Actually, the paint i used on this was a vintage can of Duplicolor from the late 1980's, lol

Looking good Dann. Knowing your scratch-building skills, you'd breeze through making a new interor centre column.
