I started modifying the front end with no clear vision, what style this Shelby GT-350 would be. 

Then I remembered a left over Chevelle STW roof, and here is the result. Also put 429 SOHC engine with manual trans in it. 

Scratch built trunk compartement, roof rack, front end. Wheels and tires are from another Ford.

Great looking conversion. I like the tinted band on the windshield. The paint work and the stripes look good together.

If the nose had been left stock I'd say that was a factory built car. I love how you incorporated the rear spoiler instead of smoothing over like a typical wagon would be

Yeah I think the nose job was unnecessary, but there was an idea of a mean street machine, before the roof swap hit my brain. At that time major cutting had been done. A stock Shelby nose would have fit perfectly to this rapid family wagon. 

But I'm glad you buds like this kind of conversion.

Very cool.I Wonder if there was ever a time in Fords past when they thought about building a Mustang wagon.Yours came out great.

Very cool.......nice work. 

 

Somewhere I still have 2 Mustang wagon resin body's I bought 20 years ago. Had 4 of them, built one and sold one.
