Very cool!

I can't say that I like the wheels, but to each his own.

To me those large diameter wheels make a car, whether a model or a 1:1, look like a toy.

Maybe that's the intention. ;)

I used to agree with you but my tastes have change since I realized how much better my1:1 Montego GT looks with 17 and 18 inch rims as compared to the 14s it came with.

As I said, everyone has his own sense of what looks good.

I guess its like popcorn, some like it salty, some like it sweet. I like both, actually and to me, this Olds looks like a large bowl of vanilla ice cream with a lot of chili flavoured popcorn on top of it, YUMMY!

That's a nice looking Olds! I like the stance and the wheels. Colors are spot on also. I have a JoHan Olds in the stash. But, don't recall exactly what year it is.

Beautiful looking build, I like the color and the stance. The wheels really make it look aggressive. I don't know what all you had to do with the casting to make it look this good but it was worth it.

The casting was really pretty nice. A couple pinholes and the roof was slightly warped. A little hot water and some putty thrown at it was all I did. The mold release was real tough to get off of this one.

I really like the paint scheme AND the wheels. Great stance too. I have the decals for a Hurst Olds of that vintage but no kit to put them on. Back in the mid 80's I street raced a 1:1 in St. Louis. I beat him by a car length or so.

I remember that resin kit and the only one I ever saw built I think was by Mike Hanson years ago.  I always thought the car looked right and you have done an excellent job on it.   Is it a Scale Equipment Limited kit?

Yep and I paid way too much for it.  But I needed it if you know what I mean. I had my own decals made for it too in a gold that looks almost reflective.
