crazyjim Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Finished this puppy yesterday afternoon. It's a '41 Plymouth painted with HOK limetime pearl followed by Nason 2 part urethane clear. Front & rear pans rolled, taillights & license plate frenched, scratch exhaust from aluminum rod & tubing, turn signal lever, lowered front & rear, engine wired & plumbed.
stavanzer Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Great Colour, Even better Wheels! Perfect Little Street Rod!
crazyjim Posted March 12, 2020 Author Posted March 12, 2020 Thank you Craig, Keith, and Bill. Can't beat HOK paints.
Kit Basher Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 One more vote for that paint. It looks amazing!
gman Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 That is a beautiful shade, and your paintwork looks great on the body of that Plymouth. It is always a treat to see what you are going to post next- both the vehicle, and your chosen shade.
Modlbldr Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Looks nice Jim. I'm working on one of these right now. The looks of these old Plymouths is growing on me. Later-
crazyjim Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Thank you Craig, Tom, and Carl. The car looks better lowered a bit and that took me some work, Tom.
espo Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Very tasteful looking custom. Great looking paint work. What engine did you use ? They never had a very big engine room.
crazyjim Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Thank you David. Engine is from the kit but I changed the headers.
Hmann68 Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 One of your best Jim! The color, the wheels, cleanly done, everything looks great ?
