The Revell Mach 1 kit that is coming looks like it has the plastic bumper.. no idea if it has any extra parts, though.

From what I've seen of the rest of the box art it has a 429 in the engine bay, plus the hood and the wheels at least.

Finally got some paint on the body.  Next step to mask off most of the body to paint the black and the hood.

That looks GREAT!  What paint/color did you use?  I just ordered some Tamiya TS16 Yellow for mine.

Duplicolor.  You probably cannot find this color code anymore.

Hmm....those wheels.....didn't they came as standard on the Twister Torino too?

Those are FOMOCO Dog Dish hub caps with glamor rings...they were available on several Ford vehicles at the time, the Twister was one, yes!

Here is a 1970 Cobra Twister wearing the Dog Dishes!

That looks real close to my Mach 1...I bought some Tamiya TS16 Yellow for the model!  Hopefully it matches close!  I also have some TS47 Chrome Yellow but it looks a little darker with almost an orange tint.

That striped green '73 convertible is gorgeous...the '71-73 convertibles looked so good w/ the long hood...

As an aside, here's a contrast between factory quarters and '70 quarters applied ...

I wish we could get a 71-73 Coupe kit!  I used to have a 72 Coupe in Anniversary Gold with a brown vinyl roof!

For anyone who was wondering, the AMT rear window louvres do fit the Revell kit.

And the US version is coming also.

I hope they include the whitewalls too.

I know it's jumping the gun, and there's a ways to go, but I really REALLY hope the educated speculation on a Gone in 60 Seconds version does come to fruition.

I’m sure you are not the only one.  Although Revell seems to stick to just including what is needed to build a specific model (i.e. Eleanor) I hope the include some 73 Mach1 decals and perhaps stock 351C valve covers so modelers can make a replica of one too.  If not Keith Marks and Rays kits make the decals (in black and silver).

I suspect they'd be decals the way the tire branding is being handled.

They should (Tampo?) pad print them on like Round2.  I’m hoping they are.

I'll agree to disagree on that. Just Google Image searching '71 Mach 1s I can only find one or two that have white walls equipped. The majority, even the ones with the Ford Pie Pan hubcaps have either white letter tires or black walls. The Whitewalls seem to be more an artifact of the movie car than reality, if anything (as someone else mentioned in this thread earlier) it's more disappointing they aren't including full Mach 1 stripes than not Tampo printing white walls when I'm guessing the majority of customers aren't necessarily going to specificly build the 007 car.

Edit - I don't have to guess at all, someone posted the decal sheet in the other thread about 2024 Revell kits and the white walls are clearly on there.

Period images, or current?   I doubt anyone would put whitewalls on one now, but when new, E70-14 whitewalls were standard, even on Mach 1s.  Wider RWL tyres were optional.

Only the purists these days are going to put bias ply white wall tires on a Mach1 but they were pretty common when they were new as most came with the 14x6 inch steel wheels with trim rings and hubcaps.  You see many 71-72 Mach1’s with Magnum 500’s, front and rear spoilers and side stripes that were added on later.
