Jared Roach Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Just finished my Tamiya GT4 mustang, excellent kit and basicly fell together as most tamiya kits do. Paint is all Tamiya spray bombs, French blue and white for the stripes. Wet sanded and buffed the clear. I went for more of a "street" car that was converted over to a race car. Box stock other then the paint changes. I cannot wait to see what Tamiya brings out next. Thanks for looking. 1
Ghost_33 Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Very nice build looks awesome. And that is coming from a Chevy Camaro Gen5 owner
Geno Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Jared, that is one sweet build. I love the looks of the new Stang. You can still tell it's a Mustang but it also has a hint of exoticar as well.
Peter Lombardo Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Very nice, the color works perfectly on this car. Very sharp, and clean. I guess I will have to ge.t one of these
espo Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 The paint and body details are great looking. Looks like the perfect weekend track day car.Â
Tommy124 Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Very nice! That is already the second excellent build that I see of that kit on this forum, done as a "street version". I have mine to do yet but there is a big chance it will be done in blue with stripes, too!
Plowboy Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Really like this model!! The few I have seen built are very impressive to me. This one is no exception! This will definitely be my next model purchase!
gpal Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Hello. Great Job! did you clear the Blue or just polish? Thanks, George
Slimguy Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Gorgeous build...really like the choice of color.  You are right in that the Tamiya kits do come together nicely.
Madhatter Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Beautiful finish and a equally nice color. It'd be great if Tamiya did a normal road version so you could use the body of the race car but have a civilized interior
Jared Roach Posted September 6, 2020 Author Posted September 6, 2020 Thanks everyone! It was a lot of fun to build.

ozmodeler Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Beautiful build. The paint job is almost the same as my 1:1 2017 GT road car.
doorsovdoon Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Very clean build, looks amazing! Great detail all round.
