doorsovdoon Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Now that's a show winner. Beautiful build, very aggressive looking. I like it.
Steamboat Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 That paint is gorgeous! Can't wait to hear how you did it!
Classicgas Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 (edited) Thanks. Well I only did this twice, and never again lol. I used a red non grain raising stain, sprayed in extremely light coats over a base of Metalizer aluminum. It never really dried as stain is designed to penetrate wood. It wanted to fisheye something fierce, thus extremely light coats, then probably 5 or 6 coats of clear then polished. I did this on a 57 Chrysler 300C as well. This was built in 2003-2005, not exactly sure. Edited November 8, 2020 by Classicgas
Plowboy Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 It's definitely got the '70s street machine look! Are those the Arii slotted mags on it?
