crazyjim Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 My latest completion is this 1932 Ford 3 window coupe in Tru-Color burnt orange.
espo Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Beautiful looking paint finish and color. The interior is especially nice. Great cleanly detailed engine as well.
gman Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Another winning color (and excellent application), on one of my favorite platforms. Excellent build.
Jim Whalen Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Sharp build, with a few twists like the frenched tail lights to make it more personal. That colour looks really good on a ‘32 Ford rod as well.
TooOld Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Man I love that color !! Great looking '32 Jim !
Bainford Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Nice looking 32. Good work on the paint. I have a Lamborghini Countach project coming up and have been searching for a lightly metallic orange colour for it, and I think I may have now found it.
doorsovdoon Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Very nice colour. I like the detailing in the interior, bits like the silver trim on the grab handle are not easy.
crazyjim Posted November 18, 2020 Author Posted November 18, 2020 Thank you Ray, Greg, Jim, Bob, Trevor, and Gareth. I get the Tru-Color paint from Arizona Hobbies, Trevor. Nice place to do business with.
ewetwo Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 That is great. And I really like the wheels.
e30lover Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Love the color and subtle metallic flakes! Very clean and beautifully done.
crazyjim Posted November 20, 2020 Author Posted November 20, 2020 Thank you David and Chang. Wheels are from the kit. I just painted the spokes gold.
Claude Thibodeau Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Hi Jim! Well, THIS IS the consumate Florida car... Bright colour, open engine compartment, deep gloss, and I love the interior colour combo. Bravo! CT PS: Plus, it's a Ford in a Ford. What more to ask for?
Sixties Sam Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Very nice build, Jim! I like orange Deuces. Check my avatar! Sam
mrm Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Great build and really cool color. Suits the car perfectly. I would just touch up the front shock towers and the radius rods' brackets with the orange color, to make them look as part of the frame and separate then visually from the chrome parts "bolted" to them. It would make quite some difference.
