Just finished this old kit . Built one years ago and it did not go well . I just could never get the doors to work . This time I got the doors to work kinda, sorta !  Painted bright white with red interior and used the white interior decals . Box stock with the exception of the mag wheels .

That's a sharp looking color combination and an excellent build overall. I have the 1974 release of this Monogram kit which was dubbed a "Special Interest Series" I haven't decided on a color combination for mine but after seeing this one I do like the red interior.

Wow ! That really is close to what I did.

This is a customers that I did the interior on. Getting ready to install the Kelsey Hayes wires and rebuild the front suspension.  I will have to pick up one of those kits. I never knew they came with the hardtop.

Bright White is the perfect color for this big bird .  Great to see this kit built , excellent work Ray !  This is one of the very first models I ever built back in '65 or '66 , I've always wanted to build it again . :)

Very nice work, clean build.  I have tried opening doors with limited success, but mostly non-factory opening doors.  Most of the time I glue them shut.  I have this kit in my stash, borrowed the bubble top for another custom I have in the works, am thinking of early NASCAR for mine.

Thank you fellows. Ricky, I would like to see a Nascar version done. What did you put your bubble top on ? I was thinking of using mine on a 57 Chevy if it would fit.

Awesome looking bird ! I’ve got one in the works now, should be done shortly, having problems with the doors myself, I’m putting the bubble top on it so I’m thinking the smart thing to do Is close them permanently!! Yours looks beautiful!
