Thanks man, already working on those exhaust pipes, they started to look nice heres another update on the beast, can of big one this time, have a lot of parts already ready to detail up and they look beautiful to me LOL Hope you guys like them too Work on the driveshaft and decided to add aluminum tube to make it more realistic. Also work on the front suspensions control arms and they came out better then I thought, for the arms I use aluminum tube and brass wire to make the eye hooks, glue them together and they look killer, at least for me LOL Worked on the engine a little bit more and have the pulleys mounted, the timing wheel. next step will be work on the cockpit, hope to have this chassis ready soon... ProModNut
Looking great Marcos! Using that brass wire was a great idea. Here's a little tip, if you need to chrome anything, I highly recommend Molotow Chrome Pens, they work perfectly, comes out looking exactly like chrome plating, you have to put it on thick, it layers out by itself pretty good. The aluminum control arms and driveshaft are great upgrades and a pleasure to see! That big engine is superb too!👌 Question: I've seen the part you added to the front bumper before on real Pro Mods or drag cars and was wondering if there was a name for it and what function it had on the vehicle? Can't remember what they call the extension, but after the 40" nose extension was made ( 40" from center of front wheel to end of body) any cars that had a stock nose length or anything under 40" was allowed to add the extension to make it even, being as the nose of the car trips the win light. Thanks for the explanation Richard, it makes sense! The world of drag racing is full of rules and subtleties and it's nice to be able to have our questions answered so easily! I assume this body extension is reserved for the Pro Mod class? PS: Sorry Marcos if we use your thread as a discussion place... 😉

Thanks man, the peace is call in very different names (Paddles, extenders, beam trippers) not every team like it, some drivers do not like the idea for soma reason, don't remember why at the moment Here's another update, work on the seat but still need to add some details to it, added some aluminum sheet, cut in shapes to make brackets and the look good at least for me... Claude Thibodeau
Hi Marcos! Impressive attention to details. I love your solution for the rod ends on your front suspension. Very clever! I'll borrow your idea on my next build. CT
Ian McLaren
Coming together nicely Marcos, first class workmanship. And like Claude I'm going to borrow your rod end solution as you have just solved a problem I was going to have with the steering shaft on the Royal Canadian Top Fuel Dragster, thank you! Dr Cobra
Some of the outlaw racers call the front end extensions "Pecker Extenders" Very nice detail, the only thing is a Pro Mod would not have a belt-driven water pump. Most blown Pro Mods would have the fuel pump mounted there.

Thanks Dale, yeah i know most of them have fuel pump instead of the water pump, but on this case, i let it pass just because the kit that i'm using came like that, but yeah you're right and thank you for the observation... Tortuga Kustomz
Hey guys hope everyone is doing great, here’s a big update on the beast, coming a lot better then I was having in mind, engine is almost done, only thing I need to add to it is the throttle setup for the blower hat, definitely one of my detailed engine so far... work on the the rear tires and front ones, added the rear wheels and they look very good in my opinion. added some interior details like the lenco lever setup and paint the driver pedals, still need to add the electrical box and connected all the wires to make it more cool. hope you guys like it and pls, any advice are more then welcome

Tortuga Kustomz
Hello guys, here’s is another update on the beast, expended couple hours doing sanding and fittings the windshield, dashboard and hood to try to get them together with almost no gap in between, turn out really good in my opinion, also stared working on the dashboard trying to remove the analog cages for a future digital one, added the interior panels to the doors and now they look a lot better, hope you guys like it...
