kiwicraigr@gmail.com Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Posting this here as it's more of a wacky show rod than a serious drag machine, but please let me know if i should post under drag racers? This is my first completed build in about 30 years, after being invited to an online build off. The theme was FFAFF - 'Friends F***up A Forty Ford'! - so i cut one up & put it over the remnants of a 'Bad Medicine' kit. Engine is a mix of 'Tarantula' & 'Bad Medicine' parts, with 'parts by parks' ditributor, paint is dupli color rattle can. Cheers, CraigR

Claude Thibodeau Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Hi Craig! Great to have you back in the fold! Your coupe looks the part of the "strange" customs of the Daniel's era. Many of us mashed parts of his creations back then, not really improving anything, IMHO. But your coupe is a success! CT
alan barton Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 (edited) What I am really enjoying is not so much the Daniel's connection but the fact that it looks so like something you would have seen on the cover of Model Car Science circa 64-65. Not sure what vintage you are kiwicraig but that is exactly the style they were building then! Cheers from across the dutch, Alan Edited January 5, 2021 by alan barton

doorsovdoon Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Fun looking builds. That blue metallic looks really nice. I like the skeleton, haha.
