This depends On the invasion of Poland, and African countries, to France and England, and of course the United states. On the asian front Japan entering China ect. Right.......the answer is often something like 'the 1970's'.......or even 1700's......I agree....anything from 36 to 42 is good.
89AKurt Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 I just need to know if they are 100% GMO-free grass-fed, not cloned, and have names, and their own pasture, PETA approved, etc. Oh yea, is the container 100% recycled and "sustainable". And when the store cashier asks if I want it in a bag, I say the carton is fine.

For Sausage (rope Type) We love Ossian's brand which has natural casings. And also there's a brand of smoked brat's that GFS sales that has natural casings are are very good as well. Mark Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 I was told that, if you want a real choice as far as hot dogs are concerned, try Save-A-Lot. Prices and quality are arranged from high to low, as in: "All Beef Wieners", "All Meat Wieners", ...and finally... "Weiners"...
John1955 Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 (edited) Actual hot dogs are supposed to made of pork, NOT beef. The origin is traced back to the 13th century, to Wurstchen. They were pork sausages similar in size to modern hot dogs and called Frankfurters. Beef hot dogs are tasty but are not real hot dogs as they were originally intended and few people can afford to buy 100% beef 'hot dogs' anyway. My great grandmother was of German ancestry and scoffed at 'hot dogs' that were not pork. Fortunately I knew her until her death when I was 11 years old. She would be disgusted to see today's so called hot dogs with beef, turkey and chicken meat. And those German hot dogs made with pork always contained not the best parts of the animal, it was tradition. Edited May 19, 2021 by John1955

They never did find any bodies.. he’d mix it in with the hog remains from butchering pigs and drop it in the big bin down the pig rendering plant.. you know my first thought! The show didn’t touch upon it at all! "It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent's fritters." - Motel Hell, 1980 This is the first movie I saw on HBO, and the plot is very similar to your documentary.
HomerS Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 My brother in laws daughter was not quite a teenager and she was going on about the hot dogs at a family cook out. I looked at her and said "these are great....you can really taste the snout!" Ten plus years later, I don't think she's touched about hot dog since.

Some of the commercials go overboard: "we only use the choicest cuts of meat!" I can picture a chef walking into a butcher shop saying "I would like to see your finest filet mignon", and the butcher saying "oh no, we're saving that for the hot dogs!". If they can get away with a few hooves or snouts in there, they'll try it, especially if nobody is looking... Yes, and lips and sphincters.... I am not in doubt that anyone who has eaten hotdogs has eaten all of that.

The interdwerbs make it SO easy for the willfully ignorant and the fools to demonstrate to the entire planet their dumbness. But there's also well documented and convincing research demonstrating that, although "technology" is advancing and people can "do" more as a result (and sort of appear to be more "intelligent"), actual general intelligence is declining. Dramatically.

Ace-Garageguy Posted May 20, 2021 Author Posted May 20, 2021 5 hours ago, Venom said: ....And just what is intelligence? Or better yet, WHO are the intelligent ones? In simple terms, "intelligence" is the ability to acquire and retain knowledge (to learn), the ability to solve problems, and the ability to draw correct conclusions from available data. There are, depending on who is defining "intelligence", several subsets of abilities that come into play, like associative memory, facility with numbers, perceptual speed, reasoning, spatial perception and visualization, and verbal comprehension (the ability to actually understand the meaning of a string of words)...and that we all have varying degrees of innate ability in these areas (just as some of us are born with musical talent and some, not so much). But just having knowledge is not, however, intelligence. The world is increasingly full of "educated" people with heads stuffed with useless knowledge, who think they're highly intelligent but in truth can't figure out on their own that putting your hand in fire will hurt. Here's an overview of the current thinking and debate concerning intelligence: https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-general-intelligence-2795210

I fully agree with this statement. I also think that having good foresight is a sign of intelligence, something for which mankind as a whole is severely lacking in.
