BEAUTIFUL JOB!!

Yes, this is one kit that really needs to be on the shelves again! Unfortunately, I don't ever see that happening.

Very nice build, Thomas ! Thank God I have at least 3 of these in my stash !

Besides the one I built years ago, thank goodness I have another one also to build as a street car! These are reeeeeaal tough to find out there on the 'Bay and when they do show up, get set to cough up some big bucks for it.

That's a beautiful model of a classic. A couple of quick questions if you don't mind. How was the kit to build and are the wire wheels from the kit? If those are kit wire wheels they look pretty amazing.

These are the kit wire wheels, Albert: Italeri introduced them with their 250 GTO (see photo below) and used them later for the 250 California Spider, the 250 SWB and the 365 GTB/4 Daytona.

Yes those were the kit wheels

as with all testors/italeri kits of that era the body is in three pieces (separate lower front and rear ends) so need to be ready to fill with putty…

You did a fine job on that.  Bare Metal foil looks great.  I have one of those kits, but missing the chrome tree, have a resto-rod idea for it.
