Katsusauce Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Started this a few months ago... Full chassis conversion donated by the AMT SS Nova, 454 BBC and 4 speed trans. from SS Chevelle, and other P.E., 3D printed, pewter, and other stuff added to the mix just for fun.....
Dennis Lacy Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Very cool! The cargo area details are really nice. I especially like that you added an air dam to the front. I’ve been thinking about doing the same for mine and now I’m convinced. Glad I didn’t start painting the body yet! 1
Zippi Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Nice work on the Nova wagon. I like the channel locks for the back door handle. 1
David G. Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Nice details you've added. I've always enjoyed the irony of using a $20 set of vice grips to replace a $6 window crank! Nice touch. Great choice of colors too. David G. 2
Pierre_tec Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Great build, any planned color for the body 1
oldscool Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Nice work! Where did you get the cooler and did it come with the ice? Back in the day vice grips were cheap if you bought the generic ones. 1
rickcaps55 Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Awesome build so far were did you get the hood. 1
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 I like it. That '66 Nova pan fits in there pretty well. I'm using some similar ideas on my sedan delivery version of this kit (when I get back to it), keep on building! -RRR 1
doorsovdoon Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Love the little accessories, and that wrench is a nice touch! Nice work so far, great little kit this one. 1
mustang1989 Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 (edited) LOL!!! I bout fell out when I saw the Vise-Grips as the window crank. My dad had that "option" on his old '69 Chevrolet truck. Nice work so far. Edited August 27, 2021 by mustang1989 1
espo Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Great looking build. All the little details you're adding give it the extra personality and help tell a story. Who hasn't had to use pliers to roll down a window or open a door ? 1
thatz4u Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 nice work , likin' the extra details....where did you get the chrome wheels??? 1

The steering wheel is close to the actual exterior color. Edited August 30, 2021 by Katsusauce

The cooler came from ebay, yes it comes with the ice...I used Styrene blocks to lift the ice up to .ake it look like it's full of ice.

Ebay....the hood and lower lip came as a set...just needs a little work to get it to fit correctly since it's actually madr for the Trumpeter kit.
